In a recent interview with MTV, Aaron Eckhart talked about his upcoming role as Two Face in The Dark Knight.

"Batman is a complex character, and Two-Face comes a little bit from the same world. But [at the same time] he's apart from it. I'm looking for the tension between the two, the similarities between the two. I want to find what's similar to Batman and then find what's opposite to him."

When asked if we would see him as Two Face in the film, rather than just Harvey Dent, Eckhart said, "Well, I'm Harvey Dent ... then I go into Harvey Two-Face."

You can read the full interview here.

KJ's Take:  Sounds exactly like what was rumored.  This coming film deals with Joker, then Dent completes the transformation into Two Face in the third film.  Awesome, I couldn't be more excited.

last two faces performance was tommy lee jones rigth ! can t be worst ! Don t get me wrong, I have great respect for the guy, recently he produce very personal film far away from hollywood, I respect that, but the batman saga was not for him, Let s hope Eckhart will do his best.....

I really hated Batman Begins (I know...how dare I? But when batman trains in the damn mountains and then falls down a building because the equipment was to much...it gets downright dumb....and his voice when he is batman? He sounds like the cookie monster!) I am just not excited about this movie....I love the title....but I think bale is a bad batman...and I wish it was a bit darker......at least holmes is not in it.

collector, don t tell me you prefer Val kilmer !!! I was re-watching yesterday batman begin, you rigth about the voice, but actually the whole character is based on what ? A multi billionaire guy who get s a suit with many gadget, no super power, and in that point the movie is honest ! Anyway i didn t like mickael keaton, don t like either goerge clooney, i hate val kilmer, so Bale it s ok for me....

I agree with exfan. I think Christian Bale is the best Batman yet. He has the right kind of depth for this role. I do believe though that the others are excellent actors, they just weren't the ones for this role. Aaron Eckhart is perfect for Harvey Dent. I have been a fan of his since I seen him in that indie film, "In the company of me". He was also great in "Thank You for Smoking." I am very excited for this film.

I would say "How dare you" theCOLLECTOR, but as you've already said it, I'll decline. I thought "Batman Begins" was really good also, but (devil's advocate here) ANYTHING might have looked good after "Batman and Robin". I also thought Bale was a pretty good Batman and Bruce Wayne, but it might have just seemed good from all the greatness surrounding him in the movie (Liam Neeson, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman). I don't know...looking forward to this movie.

I don`t think I`ve ever agreed with the Collector and I don`t think I will. I have to ask dude. Why the Hell do you come here? I haven`t read one positive comment about a comic book movie from you, ever. It just seems like you don`t like the genre, so why post on a site that is predominately about this type of movie? I just don`t get it.
Batman Begins was by far the best adaption of the Dark Knight put on celluloid to date. Any darker and this movie would have to be r-rated. Bale is great as Bruce/Batman. He has great depth as the character and you can really feel his inner torment which gives it the proper tone.
Eckhart is also a really good choice for Harvey Dent. He was the presence of intelligence and cockiness that Dent should have.

Batman Begins was a terrific movie, and I thought Bale was spot on for both Bruce Wayne and Batman. The movie was gritty and as realistic as a super hero movie is going to get. Aaron will make a very good Dent/Two Face. He was great as an FBI agent going over the edge in Suspect Zero.

Mother of Christmas..... not like Batman Begins... brother... I am jacked to see this film, I guess opinions are like assholes, everyone has one.

Hopefully they pull out another winner with the Dark Knight. It had some problems mind you, but it was an all around winner. Best adaptation of Batman yet. So looking forward to this.

I think Batman along with Spider-Man are the best heroes to have on film and the reason is they have the best villains. Joker & 2Face in the same film with Nolan directing can only mean this is going to be great.
