ABC delivers a new BABY

Four-hour mini-series of ROSEMARY'S BABY in gestation

ABC is developing a four-hour mini-series based on Ira Levin's ROSEMARY'S BABY novel and its sequel, SON OF ROSEMARY. The first book was turned into a film back in 1968 by director Roman Polanski and starred Mia Farrow as a pregnant mother-to-be that comes to suspect her husband and her unborn child are involved in dark deeds.

Whereas Polanski's movie ends with the birth of Rosemary's baby, the mini will continue on the story and show the son as a teenager. The program should be ready for broadcast sometime in the later part of 2005.
