ABC has picked up the dramas it will premiere next season, and there are a few genre titles in the mix.
First up is VERITAS, a two-hour movie about a father and son archaeologist team. The movie will become a series if it does well in the ratings.
Said executive producer Craig Zadan to VARIETY, "There's nothing on television like it. It has the combination of being very smart and very commercial with a tremendous amount of visuals, action and adventure."
Has he seen ALIAS?
Next up is ASTRONAUTS, about a group of... well, astronauts... on their way to Mars. Finally there's PARANORMAL GIRL about a seer hired by the FBI to fight crime. Andrew Davis (THE FUGITIVE, COLLATERAL DAMAGE) is directing the pilot.
