The Return of Holmes and Yo-yo!

Or the return of Mann and Machine, the early 90s cop show with Yancy Butler the android partner to a human man cop.
Or maybe the sequel to I, Robot.
Or maybe Future Cop, a cops show from the 70s with curmudgeonly veteran cop Ernest Borgnine partner with a robot.
Cops and robots go together like cops and donuts.
Sounds like an update of, "Man and Machine" for anyone who remembers that. It was a decent show, but not great. It could have been had it been on longer.
I like Abrams TV shows much better than his movie (except Star Trek. Loved that). I'll give this a shot.
Really? Is this for real? Because look how many OTHER "cop with robot partner" shows the Maniacs have already mentioned. I remember Harlon Ellison, many years ago, had a script for a similar show called "Brillo". That was the robot's name, because Brillo is metal fuzz, and back then we called cops "the fuzz". Clever huh? Oh well, nothing new under the sun. I just hope Abrams can find a way to give the tired concept a fresh turn.
Oh yeah, I forgot the show Total Recall 2070 from the late 90s. It was loosely based on the Arnold film and was about... wait for it...wait....waaaaiiittt....a human cop partnered with an android.
Just team a cop with a donut covered robot, why don't ya.
I might watch Revolution, but I ask myself why does everyone fight with swords and bows instead of guns? I mean beside the fact that Hunger Games was such a huge hit.
@almostunbiased, I thought the same thing. What gunpowder doesn't work either? How about instead of an actual android, they add an alien who is very much Android like ...like...Alien Nation?
And the writer's pitch went something like this:
"Y'know how this year is the 30th Anniversary of 'Blade Runner' and all? Well, how would you guys like to cash in on that?"
