DARK TOWER
DARK TOWER
DARK TOWER!!!!
YES. Don't screw this up JJ. This isn't a lanky ass stick monster we're talking about here. The Dark Tower would an awesome series of movies a la Harry Squatter.

I will get excited about a J. J. Dark Tower IF and only IF he manages to do a good job with Trek. Period.

JJ is either in a heep of trouble or is about to because one hell of a director for the big screen. He seems to be taking on the projects where people say, "DON'T SCREW THIS UP, J.J." I hear that a whole lot. With his obvious abilites surrounding his big screen Directorial debut, "Mission Impossible III", J.J. now look outward to projects that are deeply challenging, simply because of the fan base, and perhaps because previous attempts at these projects were disappointing. So, this is either J.J.'s time to shine, or his time to go down in flames.

JJ shouldn't make a sequel to Cloverfield. Like he said a gimmick isn't loved if it's done again and again plus the camera work like he also say can wear out it's welcome. The cat's out of the bag with the monster and poor word of mouth ended up hurting the total box office which will lead to disappointing box office for a sequel.
Now, Dark Tower will be interesting.

I liked Cloverfield,,,,the camera work never bothered me. I think the idea of the same attack told via another group of people would be a cool idea for a sequal. Star Trek I am excited for. I really loved MI:III, so I am more than willing to give him a fair shot.

To the stupid woman asking the questions...next time talk INTO the mic when you ask the question....then put it back in the person face you are asking the question to. This way everyone hears the interview.

Ok, JJ (and King and Lindelof). If you are going to do The Dark Tower, I have one word for you... Animation. I am re-reading the series right now (I'm on Wizard & Glass). I don't see how they can possibly do this live action. It won't work. Make it animated! Maybe even as an ongoing series on HBO, so you don't have to cut 75% of the content.

I was thinking the exact same thing as Hobbs. I think even JJ wanted to mention something to that effect (hey lady, this mic shouldn't be parked in front of my face!). Reminds me of that girl who interviewed John Cusack and confused him with Kevin Spacey (http://youtube.com/watch ?v=yXF8L hvjqa8 minus spaces). Some girls want to be seen/heard, and can't be bothered with journalism basics. Both girls sound as educated as a 16 year old.

I have a feeling that the Cloverfield sequel will be the same movie from a normal perspective or a direct continuation of whatever happened in the movie presuming the monster didn't die, since there is no reason to assume that it did (all without the shaky cam effect).
