What They Say
While out on a date with Night, Riiko meets a boy who looks like her first crush from elementary school - Toshiki Murakami. Even though she's with Night, Toshiki seizes the opportunity to steal a kiss from Riiko...

The Review
All sorts of things have been getting between Riiko and Night, but now with Riiko's parents back at work overseas, it looks as if the couple will finally have the chance to take the next big step in their relationship -- becoming lovers. For this momentous occasion, Night thoughtfully makes plans for them to spend a romantic night together at Odaiba. However, on their special evening out, they run into Toshiki, who's a dead ringer for Riiko's very first crush from grade school. And when he starts showing interest in Riiko, her feelings begin to waver. Toshiki seems determined to make Riiko his, but Night's not about to let her go without a fight. Meanwhile, Soshi's growing more and more suspicious about Night -- will he finally discover the truth about Riiko's perfect boyfriend?

This story is getting more and more difficult to take seriously at all. Riiko goes from having no boyfriend prospects to being pursued by three guys (Night, Soshi, and Toshiki), two of which are intent on having sex with her. The plot has the potential for some angst filled and romantic moments, but Watase opts for all-out farce instead. Just about all the story's twists and turns are over the top, from the sudden appearance of Gaku's quirky boss to the insane fight between Night and Toshiki to Night's ridiculous system malfunctions. With all of the shocks and surprises that come up, it seems as if Riiko's drawn in freak-out mode or with her jaw hanging open for the majority of this volume. In the middle of all this, the rivalry between Soshi and Nights does intensify, but whom Riiko will ultimately choose is still anyone's guess. So in short, there's lots of talk about sex, lots of Watase's beautifully drawn eye-candy (though she continues to keep all the vital parts covered), and lots of cheap laughs mostly at Riiko's expense.
