InnerSanctum, Zod wasn't created by Donner he was introduced in the comics unlike Ursa or Non

scotty, you're right but I don't care that they've changed races with White. And like I said about the hair color, not a big issue

 I don't recall Zod being introduced in the comics until AFTER the Donner films.  I could be wrong, but I don't ever recall him being in any of the Supes comics before the movie.  And, I'm not implying that Donner himself created Zod...just that it was a creation for his film.  And, my point still stands...why use the villian from Donner's films if you want to completely start anew?  

 Something that fans of the comics know, but the general public might be unaware is that Kryptonite is not Supes only weakness.  Magic is also.  That would have been interesting to bring into the film.  And, there have been many villians that have gone toe to toe with the big blue boy scout.  Maybe for a sequel...if this is a success and there is still enough interest in the character. I'd definitely like to see him done justice.  Anticipating a lot of slow mo punches.  

 Wiseguy:  I stand corrected.  The character first appeared in Adventure Comics #283 April 1961.

 I was kidding! I'm sure she will do a fine job, and for the record... yes she is pretty damn cute.

Amy Adams is going to knock Lois Lane right out of the ballpark. She's a talented actress (I can't think of one movie I've seen that she hasn't been good in - even that awful romcom about the girl who travels to Ireland to propose) and she's got the "it" thing for Lois...spunk, a sparkle in her smile and eyes and she a real beauty. I think of her playing Amelia Earhart and think of her as Lois and I can see her as a reporter hounding a story. She's just great casting for Lois.

NON should be in the movie too minds well. Zod and his followers.  Callum Blue should have been used he was the Terrance Stamp match for the Zod character. He admitted to he was going to rip off Terrance " with Terrance's approval" since they have athe same manager , when callum did Smallville.

The only other Superman Villian id want to see is Doomsday vs Superman. Duke it out slug fest.  But nobody has the balls to capture that or go that route so they rehash things that have been done.

After all it is hollywood people !

Forgot - Amy Adams is HOT !

I hope she looks exactly as depicted in these photos.  Most of us have been "crying" for a NEW cinematic version of Superman, especially since the pseudo-rip-off that was SUPERMAN RETURNS, so griping about something like Amy Adams' hair color seems, to me, hypocritical at best.  I just hope that the gas station scene isn't a riff on the one from the first Donner film.  I second those that say the further away from Donner's vision this film is, the better.  No disrespect to Donner, of course, since his first (and second, to the extent that he directed it) films are classics.  Still, the Achilles heel of Superman - DC's frontrunner and the arguable father of the modern superhero - is that without a villain like Darkseid or something, he and his stories tend to get old kind of quick.

Wow, could they have picked a more milquestoast actress to portray Lane. The more I see and hear about this film the less I like.
