Nightwing for Man of Steel or Arrow?

Twitter Explodes

Will it be Arrow or Man of Steel for Nightwing?

Could Steven McQueen be pulling a Vin Diesel? Twitter has been buzzing that Steven McQueen (The Vampire Diaries) could be Nightwing in the upcoming Man of Steel sequel. However, the odd part is that McQueen has been tweeting images of himself with Nightwing in background at Arrow writer Greg Berlanti (also screenwriter for Green Lantern). Could it really be Arrow that McQueen will appear on? Could it all tie together like a recent episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.?

Of course Warner Brothers and DC Comics haven’t made an official statement yet. This could all be in good fun or just trying to create buzz. We’ll keep our eye on this one Maniacs.

I like the show, but I kind of hope they keep the Arrow-verse separate from the movie-verse.  Especially if they go through with the Flash series.  I just prefer the epic-ness (for lack of a better word) of the movies being their own world, and want to see some of these characters imagined there.

Hopefully in addition to the small screen...

If it's Nightwing then MOS2 or Bats vs Supes whichever is the right title is the one that would make sense since it's an older Batman. He really has no business in Arrow but changes to canon is par for the course I guess neither is out of the question.

It would be cool if he comes to Batman's aid in MOS2 then like the old '60's shows bites more than he can chew and screws up Batman's plan. Maybe he knocks the kryptonite out of Batman's hand with his staff or is that something only Marvel would do for some comedy relief

Steve McQueen the late action star, Steve McQueen the director, and now Steven McQueen the CW actor?

He's got the look but I don't know anything about this dude

There WAs an episode of Arrow where Bludhaven was, maybe? Would be cool if Nightwing joined the Arrow universe alongside The Flash. Dare I imagine a Justice League team in Arrow's future?

Nightwing would work great in the show. The fighting sequences match his style perfectly.

And why waste a good show with a pretty decent cast? I say combine the films and Arrow when necessary.

So, how do they manage a Batman vs. Superman story for the sequel?  I mean, is it gonna be a story where Superman goes bad or does something fishy and so Batman comes after him?  Or is it gonna be Batman becoming suspicious of this super-powered alien on earth?  I guess what I'm wondering is, will one of them truly be a villain in the movie or is it just like a macho pissing contest and they're just jealous/suspicious of one another?

I don't know what the story will be for MoS2 but Batman better watch out or Supes will snap his head off like a cap on a bottle of Coke like he did to Zod in MoShite.

Also, a Nightwing character without linking to Batman is out of context and dumb.  What's the point?  Especially without the connection to Batman.  Besides, Nightwing was in one iteration of JLA for like what, 5 minutes?  Green Arrow is just another version of Batman.  Nightwing is too just another version of Batman.  This makes zero sense given that the DC has many other characters they could focus on.

Nightwing on Arrow is a bad idea. Theres no continuity there at all.... It throws off the balance of Arrow/Speedy(Arsenal) and Batman/ Robin(Nightwing). Nightwing and Arsenal should be the same ages.

But if they end up connecting the MOS and Arrow Universes, that would explain a seasoned Batman. That means Bats and Robin were doing it while Oliver was on the island.

Actually, Tevii, the guy who plays Roy on Arrow is the same age as McQueen.

I got no problems with Nightwing appearing on Arrow. Not sure how he'd fit in to MOS2. With Batman showing up and a rumored Wonder Woman, they have to be careful about overloading the movie. It is, after all, a Superman sequel.
