Check out John Blake's performance review

The Dark Knight Rises continues to release a handful of cool viral tidbits, with the latest being a performance review from the Gotham Police Department for Officer John Blake (Joseph Gordon-Levitt).

The report is generally glowing, with Blake clearly a rising star in the department. "Officer Blake shows great dedication and tenacity," reports his assessor. "He made an impact in his assigned beat by building effective associations within the local community."

However, his one "failing" appears to be his difficulty in getting on with other officers in the department. Given the history of corruption in the GPD, we'd say that's no bad thing, but the report suggests he, "needs minor improvement in his relationships with fellow officers."

"His thoroughness tends to make him judgmental of colleagues' performances," continues the report, "and leads him to question authority." In which case, we're sure he and Batman will get along just fine…

We're still not too sure just how significant a role Blake will play as yet, whether he's simply Batman's man on the inside or (whisper it) a possible replacement? In any case, all will become clear when the film opens in the US on July 20th, 2012. In the meantime, you can check out the report in full, below...

Better yet check it out on The Dark Knight Rises official page.

Thanks to Chopsaki for the submission.

Please do not be Batman's replacement. If that is the case than that is an big fail on Nolan's part.

If Batman is to be replaced in the Nolan universe, why not use an established DC character that has worn the cowl before like Dick Grayson or John Paul Valley?

Don't like it.

He's Nightwing, Bat's replacement

Because then you'd be complaining that he's not "Dick Grayson" because he's not an acrobat or some other bullshit.

I thought it was Jean Paul Valley?
