I love this show! I don't understand the hating or the dip in ratings. Except for that ridiculous episode, "Repairs", and "0-8-4", the stories are fantastic and they don't need Thor, Cap, Stark or Hulk to be so.

Ming-Na Wen is still gorgeous and she owns the character of Melinda May. I'm really intrigued by the growing mystery surrounding Coulson's death and resurrection. I suspect that it's not Coulson and that he really did die.

Looking forward to the next episode.

Rizing I agree. But the ratings have actually improved the last couple of weeks, not counting the repeat eps.

I'm leaning towards Coulson being a full android perhaps using the tech that will later be used to make Vision sans some of the super powers Vision has

I get it.  I like the show.  It takes some getting into, but the characters are well written.  Melinda May is by far my favorite like I knew she would and I'm quickly beginning to really like Jemma and Ward is growing on me too.  Even Skye is not nearly as annoying as she was the first month of the show.  I also like some of the intrigue of some of the storylines and threads we see developing.  Coulson's fate(he's not an LMD, they don't dream about vacation spots), the villain controlling(and exploding eyes), the girl in the flower dress, all that.

My frustration is that they could do so much more with the show.  I knew some would get upset with it if it was just episodic, disjointed and not much to FORCE you to want to see "what happens next".  Looking at some of the trends from some of the more popular shows today, Game of Thrones, Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, they all connect.  The individual episodes flow together in often one larger story.  I think this would have been the better route.  The way it is now, as I feared from the beginning and as I see happening now, some will watch the show, may miss a week, see that nothing is happening and not see a reason to watch another week or so and soon, they've missed the second half of the season.

I just don't want this show to blow it's potential.  For instance of all of the HAMMERs and HYDRAs and AIMs there are they are using Centipede...

Is that the same prison where  Lex Luthor and Otis were incarcerated?

And what is Chris Elliot doing in prison?

st8fromvegas Arrow IMO is possibly the best superhero show ever.
However it shouldn't be compared to AoS which although based in a world with superheroes the show itself isn't necessarily about them

And why the heck did my post show up like that^^?

Honestly I stopped watching this show after the elctricity in the forest episode...the characthers are flat particularly everyone except Coulson and May. The point of the show intially if my understanding is correct was for the show to operate on the fringe of the Marvel universe. Well it operates more like on the margins of the fringe. I expected Luke Cage, Iron Fist, or even a little Rhodey action at least, DON CHEATLE DOES TELEVISION FOR CHRIST SAKES. Arrow is a far superior comic-book company show, it continues to draw on thye DC universe progressively every episode, why is this so hard for the Agents of Shield writers. I mean the whole point of S.H.I.E.L.D. is to police the superhuman world. This show is a brightly lit X-Files with a shiny Marvel Comics sticker. I'm done.

I don't get why they are not doing the basics for Shield anyway.  No Hydra or AIM, or the struckers, they don't even use the helicarrier. No Quartermain or Dum dum....list goes on and on.  They need at least one super hero on stand by to help.  Hell get Taskmaster, he flips all the time to make things interesting.
