This is all pure speculation on my part, so no spoiler warnings. If any of it's right, it's just lucky.

Hand is working for Alexander Pierce. May is reporting directly to Fury. These are going to be the two factions in SHIELD going into (and possibly coming out of) CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER.

Garrett is a wild-card. I think he's on the up-and-up, on Fury's team, so he'll be one of the 'good guys" when it all shakes out.

Deathlok and the whole Cybertek operation are under control of the Clairvoyant.

And last but not least, as Coulson said, the Clairvoyant doesn't have abilities, he has access. Alexander Pierce is the Clairvoyant.

I'll have to wait another couple weeks, after the Cap movie and the next few eps of MAoS, to see how it all shakes out.

That all makes, maybe, too much sense, WarCry.  I like it.

Did anyone think they wasted a great actor on Brad Dourif's appearance.  I can hear the call now.  "Hey, Brad.  M: AoS wants you to do a guest appearance.  All you'll have to do is sit very still in a chair with a tube taped to your lips.  You won't have to say anything.  We'll have someone else do that.  Then, after 5 minutes on screen, we're going to shoot you.  Cool?  Good."

Lu and you forget, he got paid a nice chunk of change for that appearance. So easy money.

As for the reason why Deathlok attacked Garrett and Tripplet was simple, it was part of the ploy to lead SHIELD to the fake Clairvoyent then shoot him. You attack them and Coulson and the others assume they are getting close. All of it was an elaborate trap for them. I would be very interested to see how much of this they actually use on CA:TWS and how much bleed over there is. I would love to see Fury get another appearance on AoS.

In the end Deathlok becomes a free man but unable to face his son with what he has become. He becomes a mercenary and hero for hire.

Agent Sitwell was sent to the Tryskelion. No doubt ties in to Winter Soldier. The actor is listed in the credits on IMDB.

Love this show.

Love the Deathlook X-ray look (looks like Deathlok under the skin). I can see why they can't have that look all the time. Would cost a lot on budget.

This episode was so damn good!

Tim, I was guessing that Deathlok was only at the safehouse to lure SHIELD to start actively hunting him down. After being shot in the head I could see the Clarvoyant texting him, "Ok, that's enough. Leave now so they will follow and track you to me (Nash)."

Clearly, it's the Yellow Claw employing tachio-phoretic quantum-entanglled electrons to control the decision making of key S.H.I.E.L.D. personel with the goal of actualizing his existance in this timeline.  Clearly.

This epsiode was the first one I've watched since episode 2.  When it was over I thought my criticism of the new series several months ago may have been a little harsh. In my absence it seems to have morphed into something pretty decent.  It's still not my kind of show (I'm not a Comic Book - Super Hero / Super Villain person...more into things like Justified and The Americans) but I like that this series is out there for my oldest grandson to watch.  We don't let him see shows like Walking Dead or Game of Thrones.  Bill Paxton is a smart addition.

Warcry, that was my assumptions also.  except about Pierce.  Thats a good idea.  But, not sure they could pull it off.  how you never show your main villian on screan, cause I don't think Redford is signed on to TV, if he makes it out alive in CA:TWS.  Either way great episode.

About your irk about Skye... They used her because they didn't want to involve anyone else from SHIELD, not that she was the only one that could do it.  Trust issues and stuff.

I have seen CA:TWS twice now, but you are getting nothing from me!
