There is still a lot of Skye hate out there. Whatever.

She was kind of annoying at first but grew on me. The turning point for me for her was 2 episodes ago when she tricked Ward and called him a nazi.

Too many posts to read so my take is Ward was taken at young impressionable age, and a troubled youth anyway.  Not hard to believe how he is not messed up in the head.  Better than "annie" in Star Wars anyway.

This episode was B minus to B territory. I did have a problem with the grappling hook, but I am quite all right with the pacing and moving towards the finale. I don't see all the flaws that the reviewer did. I dig Tripplet. He actually has a personality. Say what you want about Grant, but the actor just plain sucks. He is generic. Can't wait for him to go.

Guys, about the agents storming the JUVI center.  We only saw them come through the door.  This is SHIELD, with countless means to cover things up.  They could of staged this raid and made it look like they were taking a very dangerous person out of the jail.  Thus they needed to enter with force.  Then, show their documentation after.  We don't know, they didn't show us.  And since most of these men were probably already HYDRA, the uppers at SHIELD probably had no record of it.  So it's not impossible to believe that this could of been kept out of the press.  Turned into a minor story of disturbance.  This is what secret organizations do.

I doubt they were SHIELD. If Hyrda can cover its existence for decades, they sure as hell can break some random kid out of juvie. Come on, people.

Funny how the debate has turned out to be about a grappling hook and wether it's believable that a bunch of men could storm in and bust out of kid from prison without any knowledge of it. :)

Exactly what I was thinking Rogue.  This is Hydra.  How do you think they formed within the ranks of Shield without talking to each other or doing covert things.  You think they just magically came up with a plan at the last second to blow up Shield?

Anyway, regarding Skye, I don't think it's Skrulls.  That seems too big for MAOS but who knows.  The other reason I don't think it's Skrulls is because Raina said that Skye shared the same DNA as herself, meaning that Raina is a 084 as well.  She also said that she's waiting for the special people to show their gifts.  Almost like she's talking about mutants who are going to show their powers when they hit puberty.  I think there's more to the "monsters" tale then just that they looked like monsters.  Some people are speculating Inhumans as well as the replacement to mutants so she could be that.  I don't know.

Hmm.   Best episode?  No.   Did it move the story?  Yes.   I am hoping Ward dies in the Season Finale and Garrett lives.   Garrett would make a better adversary going forward.   Ward has no back story to make him evil other than being loyal to a guy who saved him from a couple years in juvie.   Garrett however is pissed at SHIELD.   He gave them his heart and soul and when he needed their assistance they turned their back on him.    Plus Bill Paxton is a better actor than Brett Dalton.    My prediction Ward will die saving Skye and this heroic act will make everyone instantly forgive him for all the Jedi umm I mean SHIELD agents he killed.
