And one more thing, Ward takes two head shots on the other agents, but Hand gets three center mass. Yeah...if you don't think she is surviving, you have another thing coming.

Anyone ever hear of an LMD? Life Model decoy. If award is nfiltrating Hydra, then that may be what he killed

rogue...we didn't see where the third shot was fired as i recall

Higgy 4/10/2014 10:16:32 AM

Rogue that's what I was just telling a coworker.  You see one shot to the abdomen, then 2 other shots off screen.  Ward is a damn good shot, so why wouldn't he just shoot her between the eyes like the other 2.  Makes no sense unless they're going to bring her back later.

FYI, I love Skye on the show.  If I had to pick anyone I didn't like, it would actually be the other 2 nerdy morons.  For being so smart they sure don't have common sense and are easily swayed.

I liked the episode, thought it was great.  And I loved that x-ray shot of Deathlok.  That looked so cool.  Am I the only one who wanted him to peel his skin off to reveal the cybernetics?

it's just a theory about Deathlok joining and taking Ward's place. But it does make a little sense. The character of Mike Peterson was introduced in episode 1. From the get-go, the writers were planning to turn him into Deathlok. Plus J August Richards is a Whedon favourite so I could see him get a full tome gig. Also, they already established a bond between Skye and him so I could see him sticking with Coulson's group because she reminds him of his humanity. On top of that, Deathlok was a SHIELD agent once so that all makes sense.

I too would love the comicbook Deathlok but I think it's more about budget and timing. I don't think TV shows can afford to fully make up a guy like that all the time. I guess that's why Dorian (Almost Human) or Data on Star Trek looked more human.

So 5 episodes left. Maria Hill, Nick Fury, Glen Talbot and the cellist (Amy Acker) and of course, the fallout from last episode. Should be a lot of fun to watch!

tjanson: You are right, but going with the two deadshots, why would they keep it off screen and just show blood running? I know its conjecture, but it just seems like something hard to ignore.

oh no i tend to think something more will happen with Hand, don't get me wrong

We have to wait until next episode, cause frankly it doesn't matter where Ward shot Hand.  They still have her body.  I'm assuming they eventually take over the pilots, if they were not HYDRA to begin with. Then fly the plane to one of the Hydra bases, where I assume they will dump the bodies or destroy the plane with them on it.  The only "logical" way for Hand to come back, from the info given from last episode, was that she was and LMD, and that Ward and Hand worked togather on this to infiltrate Hydra. Hand would have no problem killing agents for the greater good, and as stated, Ward is a cold as ice killer.  Personally, I would like for that to happen.  I liked Ward as one of the good guys, he was really growing on me. And Hand was great to for her part.  But, then I felt the same way about Angel before he went all evil, who ended up being a great villian.

I haave to admit that the show has gotten better, but Skye is an awful acttress.  The entire acting is something to be desired.

There was a interview with the producers where they talked about Wards turn and how it was planned, when they let the actor know and some subtle hints a long the way. They even reference a specific scene in a episode to go back and watch for something. I don't think he is a plant in Hydra by Shield.
