How will the events of Captain America: The Winter Solider effect Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.? Will it all tie together? It will be like one giant crossover in the comics. Marvel Entertainment has released this new video teasing on what is to come for the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. in the wake of events from Captain America: The Winter Solider. Check it out below.

I think the Clairvoyant is in fact Coulson himself.  I believe that his brain patterns were downloaded into a computer after his death but they became sentient. It would explain why the Clairvoyant wants Coulson alive. Both want desperately to find out what happened to them. It would also explain the gaps in both thier memories nether one of them are "all there."

Okay, for those still here, here's my thoughts on how it ties together:

> The Clairvoyant is Arnim Zola, using his digital persona/consciousness and the "prediction algorithm" that he talked about in CA: Winter Soldier to pull off all the stuff he's been doing on MAoS. It explains the "psychic" abilities and predictive abilities of the Clairvoyant and also why he couldn't see what was done to Coulson to resurrect him (because Zola's consciousness had no access to the Guest House).

> A.I.M. and Cybertek are going to be revealed as also having been infiltrated (or being straight up run) by HYDRA.

> The betrayal and loss of Agent Sitwell is going to be one of the "big betrayals" that they keep mentioning on the ads for MAoS. In both the show and in the One-Shot "The Consultant" it really looked like Coulson and Sitwell had a friendship or at least a long-standing working relationship.

> I'm hoping to see cameos either end of this season or sometime next season by Toby Jones (Zola) and/or Thomas Kretschmann (Baron Strucker). I somewhat expect to see Kretschmann show up if Dracula is cancelled over at NBC, as his schedule will be suddenly free next season.

Whatever happens from here on out, I'm completely excited to see whatever it is.  My faith in Marvel and in Agents of SHIELD has been completely renewed, and I'm all in til death or cancellation.

P.S. Captain America 2 was the ABSOLUTE HEAT. I couldn't have asked for a better sequel or a better film. I think it made IM3 look like a half-assed effort, and even outclassed Thor: Dark World by a good stretch.

Redvector, your theory is fascinating. It shows out-of-the-box thinking; the kind Whedon is known for.

Redvector and CaptAmerica both have some great ideas. Guess we'll see how this plays out tonight.

CaptAmerica04 I was thinking the same thing about the identity of the clarvoient. It would be perfect and falls right into place with what that character was saying in Winter Solder, and I'm sure that he survived the movie as well considering his abilities. So I'm sure we'll see him maybe even in the form that we all know from the comics.

only a few moments before MAOS's my theory: the AI Arnim Zola absorbed some of Coulson's memories and knowledge of S.H.I.E.L.D

Holy Sh*T!!!  MAOS just knocked it out, continuing the awesomeness of Winter Soldier!!

We were all wrong!!

And very wrong!!

Can't wait for next episode!

Can't believe the ending of this.  I saw it coming, but when he actually pulled the trigger I was sort of disappointed.  Great episode though.
