ADV did Season 2. Funimation just inherited it with all the other Sojitz titles.

Originally licensed and beginning its release run way back in the mid 1990's, AnimEigo has finally posted notice that their popular OVA release of Ah! My Goddess is finally coming to a close - barring divine intervention of a goddess perhaps. Their licensed release expires on 02/28/2010 and they still have copies left, so if you're looking for it direct from the source (or you're a retailer looking to score a potentially rare title for your shelves), check into it ASAP.
"Barring divine intervention, our license for Oh My Goddess! expires at the end of the month. We still have some copies of the 2-disc collector's edition and the original discs in stock, and we've reduced the price to clear them out. Supplies are limited, so if you want to make room for 3 Goddesses and 1 nerd in your Anime collection, now's the time!"

Hmmm... I wonder if Funi will acquire the OVA . Maybe they'll manage to get it from Animeigo. Now THAT would be something! Someone to rescue something from AnimEigo! I've never seen it happen so that's why I'm saying that would be spectacular if it actually happened. Now if only Funi could've saved KOR when it was going OOP... ~_~
Funimation is one who will proably pick this one back up. It already did season 2.
It wouldn't surprise me.
