A-Kon - ADV Panel

The ADV panel was hosted by David Williams and Matt Greenfield. Janice
Williams and Mariela Ortiz, plus numerous ADV employees and voice
actors were in the room.

We pretty much started off with the DVD, and a bunch of mermaids came
up signaling the announcement of Mermaid
Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch. A clean opening followed and there was
much cheering in the room.

Now from cute girls we went to cute guys. style="font-weight: bold;">E?s Otherwise was next up on the
list. Next up was something completely different, something weirder
than Excel Saga and Puni Puni Poemy maybe? style="font-weight: bold;">Cromartie High School!

Trailers were next up on the list, first up was the advertisement for
the Excel Saga IMPerfect Collection. The next one though, was a trailer
for Chrono Crusade, complete with the ?O? (which looked perfectly fine
to me). A quick trailer for Peacemaker Kurogane followed, continued by
Mezzo Forte TV. The Getbackers trailer also premiered. A Cyberteam in
Akihabara trailer also showed, keeping a lot of the fanservice out of
the trailer. All of these titles will be coming this year.

The Anime Network will be a mix of subbed and dubbed. The status of the
original Slayers movie and Slayers Book of Spells is still currently up
in the air but is being considered for the Essential Anime Collection.
