Grant Morrison returns.  No wait - that's his name, but this gibbering fanfic bullshit can't possibly be him.  Whoever this jackass is who wrote this book, he think she's being all clever and mod by writing a prose story with illustrations inter... Read More

Opening the Black Dossier: The Alan Moore Interview, Part Two - Nov 14, 2007 - 07:48am
Has anyone else wondered if, in addition to DC being difficult about the Black Dossier, it's possible that Alan Moore was being consciously difficult? Michelangelo took forever to finish the Sistine Chapel, mostly just to be an ass because he hated his employer. Moore decides he wants a 12" included in the Black Dossier. Just sayin'.

Continuing Continuity: Your Letters - Sep 26, 2007 - 07:54am
Nice job on the Iron Man crack, guys. Fine work. I forget what I was gonna say. Oh! Yeah, I'm glad I'm not the only guy who thinks the Thor relaunch is lame. I thought they were gonna go back to the old Donald Blake days and get away from all the mythology stuff, which I don't think works very well in the Marvel Universe. But no, so far it looks like they're going more Asgard than ever. Boo.

Cycle of Gimmicks - Sep 12, 2007 - 02:27pm
HA! Actually, I pretty much only read comics when drunk. Seriously. It's probably why I still think comics are great. Whenever the girl goes out for the night without me I get myself a nice glass of wine and put on old school rap and read comic books. I was hammered by the time I got through the Ultimate Spider-Man "Clone Saga" TPB and I was practically crying. That thing was really long. Someday maybe I'll read it sober and see...y'know, what actually happened.
