Alexander Nevsky Set to Play HERCULES

Well, it seems we're going to get two Sherlock Holmes and two Hercules adventures in the near future. We already knew from last month's news that Peter Berg was set to direct a Millennium Films version of the Greek legend. HR is now reporting that there will be a lower budgeted version also led by Russian Alexander Nevsky.
Nevsky, a bodybuilder, author and movie star in his home country, will star and produce a $12 mil production of the character called Hercules: The Beginning.
The actor will produce the project through his Hollywood Storm shingle, which recently wrapped the thriller Magic Man. Treasure Raiders, his previous film, will get a stateside release through Maverick Entertainment.
