ALIEN in 30 seconds (as performed by bunnies)

Have you ever wondered what Stanley Kubrick's THE SHINING would be like to watch if the filmmakers only had 30 seconds -- and a troupe of bunnies -- to tell the story? Chances are probably not a lot of people can say yes, but rest assured that Jennifer Shiman has. Shiman is the creator of the 30-Second Bunny Theater feature on Angry Alien, a website that has been creating spoofs of popular genre films using Flash. The movie parodies that the Angry Alien team have been creating are not only extremely funny but also extremelyu faithful, right down to recreating the same angle of the camera in a scene -- the only difference is that the human actors are replaced by thespians with big floppy ears, big buck teeth and a furry coat.
So far the Angry Alien team have done 30-Second Bunny Theater versions of four films: ones for THE EXORCIST, THE SHINING, TITANIC and their most recent effort, Ridley Scott's ALIEN. By simply selecting samples of each film's most memorable scenes and dialogue, and distorting the voices of the characters so they sound like they're related to any Chuck Jones creation, the Bunny Theater creators have produced comedy gold for genre fans. And as an added surprise, the ALIEN parody features two guest voices: none other than X2 screenwriters Michael Dougherty and Dan Harris.
