Want to own your very own ALIEN head?
Sideshow Toys is making a new collectible based on the original 1979 ALIEN monster, designed by Swiss surrealist H.R. Giger, and it's probably the largest ALIEN prop replica ever made. It is a 1:1 scale creature head, three-feet long, cast in fiberglass and painted. The translucent dome, characteristic of the original Alien, is resistant to breakage. The inner jaws and the lips are created using latex strips just like the original piece. The Sideshow replica was cast using the original molds and then remastered by Hollywood Collectors Gallery. Only 500 units will be made and sold.
And here comes the price: $895.00 US. Must...resist...urge...to buy two...
Shipping of the Alien head replicas will take place in about 4-6 weeks. Additional photos and specs for the Alien head can be found at Sideshow's website.
