Electronic Arts and Fox Interactive have shipped their latest chapter in the cosmic brawn between species, ALIENS VS PREDATOR EXTINCTION, for the Sony PlayStation 2. The Microsoft Xbox version will ship to stores on August 5.
With 21 missions to go through, players will have their hands full battling against deadly Aliens, bloodthirsty Predators or armed-to-the-teeth Colonial Marines (depending on which side their choose, of course.) This tactical strategy game also gives us new units not seen in any earlier ALIENS VS PREDATOR games, such as the Alien Carrier, Predator Hydra or Marine Sniper. Players will have the opportunity to upgrade their warriors' weapons and skills and plan their attack strategies. As well, new battlefields such as lush jungles or underground caverns are included.
ALIENS VS PREDATOR EXTINCTION has been rated Teen and is priced at $39.99.
