All Hail PHARAOH Smith?

This is purely speculative but superstar Will Smith may be traveling back to Egypt in the near future for a spec called The Last Pharaoh. The reason we caution speculation here is because it comes from news by Sun Media that screenwriter Chris Hauty (Never Back Down) is touching up on the spec which is being overseen by Smith's production shingle Overbrook Entertainment. As you know, just because a superstar is overseeing a project, it doesn't mean he will star in it as is the case in a lot of Brad Pitt's Plan B productions.
But it's worth passing along to you...
Plot Concept for Pharaoh: The film centers on Taharqa, who was king of Egypt (from 690 BC to 664 BC) and a member of the Nubian or 25th dynasty of Egypt. He was the son of Piye, the Nubian king of Napata who had first conquered Egypt, and the younger brother and successor of Shebitku. The story is about Ethiopians battling Assyrians for the throne of Amun-Ra.
