Alyson Hannigan: BUFFY Movie

Alyson Hannigan has been commenting on the possibility of a new BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER... and it isn't happening all that soon.

While talking to Empire Online, Hannigan gave her take on a movie based on the series, saying, "There are no concrete plans. There was talk about it around the time THE X-FILES movie came out and it was kind of the talk of the town then. But that went away and there's been nothing for quite some time. I don't THINK it would happen, but you never know."

When she was asked if she would like to be in such a movie, Hannigan answers, "It would depend on the script and the circumstances and all that. But I know that Joss [Whedon] doesn't want to do it until after the show has completely finished. Who knows?"
