Looks good.  I'm still not super impressed but I hope it's another amazing movie cause I don't want to go to any duds this year.

 That was most of the trailer I saw at the beginning of the Avengers movie. (Second time around.)  It is what made me get pretty psyched about this film.

I loved Sam's first two Spidey movies.  Thought they both were great.  Then the third was absolute $h!t.  (Should have concentrated on a single villian, not 2.5)   That is the same reason I think TDKR is not going to live up the the previous films.  

 ... isn't Dr Conners a reluctant bad guy as in the Lizard is an accident... kinda like the hulk? That sorta suggested the Conners is complaciant or active as a villian.

I'm also a fan of the Raimi trilogy, well, not the 3rd one, but I am really pumped about this film now. I'm really happy that they incorporated the mechanical webshooters from the comics. Peter Parker is supposed to be a genius, and I think that was lacking from the Raimi trilogy.

And I have to say, the suit has grown on me. I was completely disgusted by it when I first saw it, but oddly, I've grown to like it. I think this film is going to be pretty good.

Oh, and I saw most of this preview before the Avengers in 3D, and I have to say, the 3D looks like it is really well-done. I will definitely be seeing it in 3D!

 It looks better than all three other flicks put together.

Am I the ONLY person that thinks TDKR is going to be a total fail compared to its predecessors???!!!  I absolutley love batman begins AND TDK but CANNOT WAIT for a more comic based series in which we may ACTUALLY BE ABLE TO SEE ROBIN AND EVENTUALLY....NIGHTWING???? (fingers crossed) I'm just over the whole uber realist mindset applied to a COMIC BOOK MOVIE!  O and the fact that christian bale is a diva douchebag who wont let anyone steal his thunder...lets get this disappointment over with...AVENGERS BABY!

I don't see TDKR being a total fail...or any type of fail.  When it makes its many hundred of mils, how can we call it a failure?  It will make its money, it just won't have the marvel of the Avengers or even Spidy.  That is sad for me personally, being a fan of Nolan's vision.  With that said, I too look forward to a new chapter and I too would love to see a great development of Dick Grayson to Nightwing. 

But back to this movie, not too often have I seen the populas change their tune on a flix.  All of us were not too pleased with this, but it is looking like it is growing on us and I am very excited to check this out!  Agree with all of the points mentioned here.

RedHood I agree, I think when most of us say fail it's only in comparison to TDK and expectations. But even if it stalled at over 400mil that's a huge success that only 10 or 12 films have achieved
