American Idol Katharine McPhee is Wonder Woman?

According to Hollywood.com, American Idol runner-up Katharine McPhee has become the latest front-runner to play Wonder Woman on the big screen.

The pretty Californian has overcome bronchitis, laryngitis and a fractured foot in recent weeks to perform on the American Idols Live Tour, and it seems her real-life heroics have impressed moviemaker Joss Whedon.

Hollwood.com claims that McPhee is among those hoping to land the coveted lead role. Other names that have been thrown around include Priyanka Chopra and Morena Baccarin

I agree. All of these women are hotties...I just hope they can bring the acting with them. If not, this will be another episode if Zena, late night reruns on syndacation. Denise Richards would have been good about 10 years ago, dont you think?

Okay I hate to be rude, but Katherine McPhee is a singer, not an actor and on top of that she's a bit chunky, to be playing WW. At this point take a Chance and go with an unknown. I is Hollywood seriously saying they can't find a 5'11 actress to play this part? And if Joss is going to go with a name why not go with one of his old reliable babes. Charisma Carpenter, Summer Glau, Moreena (good choice) or even Sarah Michelle Geller.
