Best Of Anime DVD Awards Updated

June through November Voting Finalized

Catching up on an area we got behind on this year, we kicked off a week of voting for the readers where they could choose the best title of each release month from June through November 2009. After December's title is voted on in the first week of January, all twelve titles will compete head to head in mid-January for the title of Best Release of 2009 overall. You can view the overall list of titles here from months and years past and check out the list below of what just got added to the previous winning entries with a link to their reviews as well.

And this is why the industry is going down the crapper. Every one of these is a sub only show. Anime will never pick up if all we buy is half done releases like this. It's no wonder why the industry is on a constant decline in this country.

I wouldn't be too concerned with the list.  The voters/forum lurkers have slowly been over taken by the shoujo crowd.  They're not really indicative of the average consumer.  Popular stuff like Geass/Gundam/DBZ tend to have a smaller reflective base in the forum than they do in the actual market.  It'd be good to see sales comparisons but it's likely that a lot of the same forces are driving it.
