Shizuki Yamashita ran the Broccoli, Intl panel which is the North American branch of Broccoli, Jp..Broccoli will be announcing a new title at the Tokyo Character Show in Japan on July 20, and will be animated by a famous studio.
Broccoli also just created a new music division this year. Yoko Takahashi (singer of Eva OP) and the group that sings the opening to the new DigiCharat series is also on their label.
Broccoli Intl also has two other branches, Anime Gamers, and Synch-Point. A new division is called Broccoli Books. Broccoli books will be publishing English language manga in the US. The same staff who translates for Synch Point titles, will be translating for the books. A series DigiCharat books will be going out. DigiCharat Theater will be out. Digiko?s Summer vacation is the name of the first volume, and is done by the original character designer. The second volume is ?Piyoko is Number 1?. It will be released this winter.
After DigiCharat, the Galaxy Angel manga will be released. The manga is by Kanan, the original character designer. The manga is very different from the anime. It was originally supposed to be a game, so the anime came out first, then the game.
Aquarian Age ? Juvenile Orion. The main characters in the manga, are the five who always appear on the posters.
