Anime Expo - Central Park Media Panel

The main focus of CPM's panel is Manwha and their Yaoi line, Be
Beautiful this year.



The Works of Hyunse Lee was a strong focus of the panel, who John
O'Donnell referred to as the Stan Lee



They announced the following titles by Hyunse Lee.

Hard Boiled Angel  = a crime drama anthology, detective

Armadgeddon

Mythology of the Heavens

Nambul: War Stories - most successful manwha in Korea



John has a little fun apparently in the Korea, when trying to license
stuff. Really, do you want your Manwha coming out by a placed called



TOKYOPOP?



Couple - romantic comedy

Full House - shoujo

Yongri the Invincible - action adventure

Duck Prince - this one I believe is manga, as Kadokowa Shoten was shown
as the publisher



Natsumi, then brought up Be Beautiful, which is done pretty much by all
women in CPM, as apparently its hard to get men to work on yaoi.



They brought up their previous announced titles of Kizuna, Golden Cain,
and Selfish Love. I should note that the Yaoi line is MSRP $15.99 and
the



titles will be shrinkwrapped.



Someone asked about the Yami no Matsui, and John said they would never
release it, and that someone else would release it.
