Most of the news has already filtered in here, but I hadn't seen mention of this : Pioneer plans a DVD reprice this fall on titles such as both Battle Athletes (TV and OVA), the first 2 Tenchi movies (I think) Armitage III movie, Green Legend Ran... There might have been others. Battle Athletes and the Tenchi movies are going to be priced at $14.98!! So if you haven't bought them yet, wait! Apparently they can do it becasue they sold so well the first time around. Also, they are going to test some new titles at that price as well. Phantom Quest Corp and Hyper Dolls will each come on one disc for $14.98 this fall. Armitage OVAs will come on a disc for $19.98.
They also made mention of trying to figure out a way for those of us with jewel case movies to swap for Amarays at a minimum cost to us.
