Anthony Hopkins Confirms HITCHCOCK Role

The rumors have been strong that Hopkins would be teaming up with director Ryan Murphy (Running with Scissors) on a new film based around Alfred Hitchcock's trials of getting PSYCHO created. The legendary director went through a lot of naysayers at the time who said the script of Psycho was too dark, too controversial and having the lead female star killed off 40 minutes in was a mistake. As we all know, Alfred went ahead with the project and proved the critics wrong. Well, this new film, ALFRED HITCHCOCK PRESENTS, would detail the trials with Anthony Hopkins playing the cinema legend. In a video interview with MTV, the actor confirmed the role, detailed the opening scene and gave us a glimpse of what his Hitchcock voice will sound like..
