After a long stretch of looking at license announcements and more often than not thinking "I suppose I'm glad for the fans of these series, but somehow I don't know the first thing about those titles," all of a sudden this Anime Expo provoked considerable interest in me. I'm sort of tempted in getting K-On! (although there I'm prompted more or less just by the interest others have shown in it) and Sora no Woto (there, I'm a little more interested in what little I've heard about it), and I'd be happy to rebuy Utena. I'm also interested in the Black Lagoon OVAs and the second season of Shana (although before I order I probably should open the first season DVDs I rushed to buy when I heard Geneon was shutting down), and A Certain Magical Index and A Certain Scientific Railgun sound sort of interesting too. As well, the interest others have shown in Durarara does sort of pique a vague interest in me (although it's somehow not as definite as for everything else; I sort of have the feeling I want to hear a little more about the series first), and I'm wondering about finally watching the original Tenchi Muyo OVAs.

Will take a look at Index/Railgun, Durarara, based on their respective hype. And maybe the Trigun movie. And I suppose anything else someone recommends I might like since I know not much about the rest.

But even six titles in the next year or so would be quite a lot for me these days...I actually doubt it'll be more in the end beyond the first three (at least from this AX-license group).

Durarara!! (I originally was interested in this due to the Baccano! connection, but the more I hear about it the less I anticipate it.)

Nothing else really catches my eye. Although remastered Utena is nice for the fans, I didn't enjoy it enough to buy it.
