I say "if you dare" mainly because the transscript is absolutely gigantic! But the basic idea is this: The Justices are very skeptical about the bill and in general kind of really ripped into the attorneys. My personal favorite parts are when Grimm's Fairy Tales, Bugs Bunny, Vulcans (the Star Trek kind), and Postal II are brought up... Yeah, Postal II! That game from 2003 is still being brought up; the developers, still working on Postal 3, are probably finding that part hilarious.

They'll have to pry "Fallout New Vegas" from my cold dead hands.

I think the ESRB does a good job by itself to market and rate video games... that's all I shall say...

The ERSB was founded specifically to prevent the government from regulating video games. I also think that they do a good job of it.

It'll be interesting to see how this turns out. More than likely it'll be in favor of the video game industry.

They do an excellent job. They've even rated games higher than necessary just because those games were on the edge between ratings, so that they wouldn't have this kind of nonsense happen.

One would think the MPAA would throw down on this because if the govt can decide what does and does not count as speech to be self regulated as an industry they may be next.

The argument would be if the Founding Fathers had only known they would have dealt with it-to which I counter if you showed the Founding Fathers Bio Shock 2 they would say that it is so much better than the paper and pen games they were stuck playing on hot summer days in Philadelphia (Except Ben who would likely argue his press makes the finest crossword puzzles in the land).

Well that and Jefferson liked to cheat at Tic-Tac-Toe. :P

They were playing D&D in the 1780s? And the geeks shall inherit the Earth, indeed! ;)

How else do you think a rag tag group with far less military experience outmaneuver the greatest military power at the time? Washington was brutal to match up against. :catgirl:

The ESRB is even more thorough than the MPAA. There's no need to fix what isn't broken.
