It seems like a workable cover. It's just not really drawing my attention though. I may get this sometime down the line (maybe).

It probably work. Nothing spectacular thought.

Overall even with the bigger cover art, it's not really doing it for me. I also noticed the Flying Dog logo made on to the cover.

What's up with that stupid look on the dude's face? It's like he's saying "stay away, don't buy me." :sd:

...It's pretty generic and inoffensive, as far as 'anime expressions' go.

It's a decent cover and it works for a complete collection.

Just saw the trailer for this on the third Baccano! disc, and I think the main character's facial expression works. Might give this a try when it's released.

The OVAs aren't included?
It's supposed to be included. The specs FUNi gave to TRSI seemed to be different. The cover art also prints S1, S2, and the 2 OVAs. And it's suppose to be a 5-disc release. I'm inclined to say that the cover art has the right info.

D'oh! I didn't even notice that black bar on the side of the cover. :blush1:

Our hero's a raging asshole! Buy now!

This is not exactly the way to my heart, FUNi. If I wanted to listen to a massive jackass, I'd go down to Forge Road & track down that guy who wanders along the railroad tracks, yelling at everything that moves, and a number of things that don't.

I'm just disappointed that he really only stays that way in earnest for three or four episodes before his personality is hijacked by genre tropes and cliches and he starts to mellow out. I guess I can't really say whether I'd want to watch 26 episodes of arrogant, blind, hero-of-justice overconfidence, but as it is, it's certainly a refreshing change from the typical giant robot piloting teenager who, perhaps as an inevitable consequence of the target demographic (age, demeanor, culture, etc.), spends a lot of time worrying about whether he can get the job done or whether or not he's good enough or whether or not he can manage to survive until the plot bestows an invincible special move or power upgrade upon him.
