Random recommendation. :)
Mujin Wakusei Survive (無人惑星サヴァイヴ) or Uninhabited Planet Survive (also known as Planet Survives, sometimes mistranslated as Planet Survival or Desert Planet Survive) is a 52 episode series co-produced by Madhouse.
It's set in the future and it's about a group of kids that end up stranded in a strange planet during a school field trip.
It has an environmental theme to it.
It's a kids show, but the characters and plot are good enough to not to be outright stupid (there are moments where things are a little too convenient, but these parts are negligible).
The characters are fantastic and the plot is always moving (if most times at a slow pace).
The best selling point, I think, is that this is family anime; it's definitely the kind of stuff one would watch with the kids.
I can't recommed this show enough. It's worth at least a try (a five-episode try I think, since they don't get stranded until episode 4 or so).
Anyone else has seen it?
