Ah, so that's why there was no "Games of December" article :P

Enjoyed reading it, although it makes me think about how relatively cheap the year would have been without all the pricey Japanese imports I bought.

But yeah, it was a great year for gaming. Pretty crazy that next year is already shaping up to match or better this one and there is still loads to be announced! Looking forward to the 2011 article :)

Much like Final Fantasy XIII we desperately wanted to rave about Metroid: Other M...

I haven't spoken up before, but I'm officially tired of hearing about how these games were OH SO DISAPPOINTING! XIII probably has the best party AI ever; while Other M was just a blast to play from start to finish.

I quite agree. Neither game was perfect, but they also don't deserve the blasting they get as popular consensus.

I'd say that Other M deserves it more than FFXIII though.

One of these days, perhaps after a price drop and when I'm not distracted by other things, I should really actually play Final Fantasy XIII for myself and see how I feel about it. Instead of just looking from the shadows. Watch me not get around to it until FFXX comes out.
