-Time for a nice peaceful ending song... while the armies of humanity fail to defend the Earth? Oh and Setsuna has an out of body experience during the Ending.

-Oh a nice mini fairy sized Tieria. He just keeps getting more adorable. Give him some wings and put him back in his old pink book worm sweater.

-Um... kay. Giant space flower. Alright then.
Well uh, that was a movie. For the most part it was fun. But there are some minor odd quibbles I have with it. Like what was up with the military's pet Innovator who did nothing for the plot but take up time. I expected Setsuna would have to face an ELS version of him at the climax. But nope, nadda. The ending just kind of abruptly happens too. The conclusion of "Hey chill out aliens dudes, we cool" from Setsuna's "communication" was obvious. But just felt I dunno, rushed at the last minute. "We gotta go to their home planet now. Bye! Have a flower." Whatever.
To think this started out feeling more fun than other movies I've watched recently. Once you get past the flashy explosions and massive space mecha battles, Haruhi was more enjoyable. I fell a little ill just typing that. :noodle:
