It looks like we get the regular version of Part 1 and not the LE artbox yet. The main artwork shouldn't be surprising. Overall it's an okay cover, but there is just too much of the border action going on. I haven't decided on whether to get this or not.

But i do like it, i think it fits quite well. If the show's any good, i'll probably get these sets at some point. I've veen interested in the manga and anime but haven't checked anything out yet...

Also, what's up? Now we have to order both parts together to get the premium items? That's pretty lame. Or worse, they're trying to pass the cards as the Premium item and to get the real Premium you have to order both. Sad practice really. Especially when they release a full series in 2 sets at the same time! I mean, you have to buy both anyway. So why not release it as a full set? Anobody buying this knows they have to buy two...

Nope. If you order the Part 1 LE, you get the premium item (set of art cards). If you order the TRSI bundle (of which includes the Part 1 LE and Part 2), you will get one more additional premium bonus (of which has not been revealed yet) for the same MSRP prices (when added together).

I have to say I'm rather annoyed at the spine for the Part 1 Limited Ed box. They just copied exactly what would be on a normal Part 1 (of multiple boxes) and stuck it on the side. So now instead of just saying the box is "Hero Tales" it says "Hero Tales - Part 1."

That's definitely the worst part of the release. The inconsistency between the other LE artboxes. How can they leave Part 1 on the spine. I can live with it being on the top of the artbox.

I'm okay with the art cards. It's still better than the Chrome Shelled Regios flag.

Yeah, one side of mine were a bit bent on all of them. Guess shrink-wrapping them or something was too much... or sticking them between the disc cases might have even been better ~_~ Not a big enough problem for them to care though.

Still peeved at the chipboard box. I'm not even sticking my Part 2 in it -- left the filler box in there and just stuck Part 2 beside Part 1 LE. The top of the LE box isn't centered either... I really hope they stay away from taking the regular edition and c/p'ing onto a chipboard box. It doesn't not work.

wait let me get this straight.. so the artbox that your suposed to keep everything in actually just says 'hero tales part 1' on it?! i was eyeballing this series since it looked kinda decent. The price was a bit of a turn off, but i was still thinking of taking the plunge for the V1+le and part 2.. however having it say 'part 1' on the spine when i put the collector box on the shelf would piss me off.

are all the LE collectors boxes like that? If so ill proably pass

So far this is the only one that does that. I will pass on the series cause it never caught my interest. There are better series to buy that I'll put my money toward. I always found it irritating that some of the parts say part one disc one and two and part two disc one and two on the thinpack spines. I like the ones that have it part one disc one and two and part two disc three and four. Minor thing I know.

As noted before in addition to the Part 1 on the spine, it's also on top of the artbox as well. Hopefully it's something that they won't be doing from now on.
