Anyone else pick this up? There's so much more to it than the first game it's hard to believe! The story mode this time has a lot more story and a lot more variety. Online is crazy, I played for an hour or so there and played a dancing rhythm action game, a top down zombie shooter, a top down racing game, a Mario rip-off, a trophy grab level and more.

Hoping to keep returning to this long after I've finished the single player stuff.

Yep, I did. I love LBP and I love LBP2 even more. The possibilities are just insane. My PSN is Dorktron2000 is you wanna add me and play some time.

The more I play of this the better and better it gets. Story mode is a lot more involved that in the first game and the PSP game - more cut scenes etc, but the variety is amazing. It's a complete joy to play.

Yeah, the story mode is awesome, I just wish it was a bit longer. The boss levels were pretty good, they're one of the things I really wished was in the first. It's just all around better than the first one. I've seen people say this is nothing more than a glorified expansion pack, which confuses the hell out of me since so much is improved upon and added.

Did anyone else grab the Collector's Edition? I think everything that came with it was pretty good. I found myself switching costumes for what I thought went best for each level. Jak for the most part, with the CLU costume taking over for the space levels and Spider-Man from LBP1 for the grapple hook heavy levels. The Ratchet costume is a bit disappointing as the green eyes aren't part of the costume.

Picked this up along with Dead Space 2 CE. I tried out the first 2 levels and had a big grin plastered on my face. I can't wait for a friend to visit me tomorrow so we can really tear into the game.

A friend and I sat on my couch for 3 hours and played LBP2. We completed the first world and did the first 2 levels on the second world. I forget which level, but it was awesome that a world's play mechanics were changed because of a trigger sticker. It made sense because we could get stickers that were unreachable the first play through. We weren't doing too great at getting a high enough score to get all stickers on challenge levels. Doing the challenge maps by inviting people was chaotic and fun. Just lost our characters in the giant mess at times. After he left, I tried some created worlds and was mostly disappointed from all of the "new" maps. I saw the potential for using LBP2 as a video format, but only for trailers.
