Mania Grade: A-
In Summary:
As this arc draws ever closer to an end, I have to say that Bleach is reaching a place where it would be wholly appropriate for the whole venture to end, both in manga and anime form. Kubo is only a handful of chapters ahead of the show at this point, though I don't know (or want to know) what's going on in them, but he has the two choices there. To end things softly for a bit and draw it to a close or to move along and then bring Ichigo back to some level of power. While doing that would work, I have to say that the culmination of events here feels like this is a very appropriate time to end the whole work. Find some level of closure after all is said and done, examine the characters and their relationships and find a way to tie up some loose ends. I've rather enjoyed Bleach overall, uneven nature and all, but I can't help but to feel like this is the time to bring it all to an end.
