Mania Grade: B-
In Summary:
While I can certainly see the appeal this show holds for many, it feels like it's progressively losing steam as it goes along from the first couple of episodes. This storyline has come across as too unfocused for my tastes and for a large part of it, it feels like it's just meandering around without a clear idea of what it wants to do. There are some interesting elements to it and the overall ideas are appealing, but it's being told through the strange and unusual leaps of logic that Victorique uses. Again, I can see the appeal of it, but it's not holding my attention like it was at the start. The draw of the characters is still strong though and watching our two leads going through it all is a lot of fun, but the story itself feels like it's in a very distant second place here.
