Mania Grade: C
In Summary:
Level E is a series that really hooked me hard during the first three episodes and made me pause with the fourth. Once it got past that, it lost me pretty much for the remainder of it, though it started to have a bit more fun as this last storyline got underway and it avoided largely dealing with the sentai group of kids. But in the end, the show is just so chaotic and leaps from different things, which is all adapted from the short manga series from the 90's, that it lacks something compelling. It has its moments, it definitely won me over at different times for a number of reasons, but as a whole it's a show that is very, very frustrating because it had such potential and squandered it. It went from the dark horse show of the season to the one that crashed and burned the hardest, being quite the disappointment as a whole.
