So, what are the ultimate fanservice (and, no, I don't mean slow, lingering shots of mecha) shows out there? Is there a Holy Grail of ecchi?

Just something I've been wondering having seen Seikon no Qwaser.

I think Aki Sora deserves that designation even more than Yosuga no Sora.

Off the top of my head, Girls Bravo is the ultimate ecchi anime and if you asked me, this title is just one step away from being a hentai. It has a ton of fan service, the ultimate playboy (though the lead guy is anything but that), a girl with a big bust size, a girl with a flat chest, bath scenes galore, and pretty much no moment to catch your breath until the next dose of fan service comes.

Just finished Kanokon and was amazed with the number of nip scenes towards the end.

I liked GB, and would agree that it's a fanservice cntender, but it just pales compared to Seikon no Qwaser which is a world where special people, known as Qwasers are able to manipulate a certain element: Iron, cooper, magnesium, oxygen, titanium, gold, etc., and how do they powerup?

By sucking "souma" out of the breasts of young women. So we end up with there being bare boobies every episode, and said boobies being erotically sucked on every episode, by both males and females. And we've got a variety of bust sizes here, from itty-bitty to super-duper. We've got lead heroine Mafuyu waking up to her roommate Tomo sucking Mafuyu's nipples, with after being told to stop, uber-busty Tomo ends up sucking her own nipples. So we've got a lot of sexplay here, both comical and more serious, lesbian and hetero.

And then there's Katja and Hana. Katja's the newest girl in school, a cute little girl, except that she's actually a much older woman, and a ruthless qwaser, in a child's body. Hana's the school tough girl, in service to the daughter of the present Dean of the school, that is until she sees Katja whereupon her heart does an absolute flip. The moment when Katja unveils her true nature to Hana, having fake feinted in a changing room, showing she was awake just as Hana was about to kissed Katja's bare choulder, ruthlessly exploiting Hana's feelings to make Hana admit them, and then, raising her skirt, telling Hana, If you admit them, I'll give you somewhere even better to kiss, is priceless. From then on, Hana is Katja's slave, sex and otherwise.

Villains include a pair of twin girls who go around looking for a new master to punish them; and if you don't they kill you. So we've got bondage, domination and submission, S&M, breast expansion, breast groping, and much, much more.

Oh, and a fairly interesting plot, to say nothing of the Mother of all Onsen episodes. And now to find out if there's anything that tops this, other than the 2nd season which started airing in Japan last week. :)

On the more softcore side, definitely Aki Sora, as well as A Step Up Love Story.

I also have to concur with Kiss x Sis, as well as Qwaser of the Stigmata, in the "almost there/'why isn't this hentai'" department.

A personal favourite of mine that hasn't been mentioned yet is DearS. Ren's really hot, and her fanservice moments are great.

Golden Boy is another good recommendation.

Step Up Love Story is a good mention, and a show I absolutely love. Yura's so damn adorable! Uber ecchiness, which is to be expected in a show about a newly married couple exploring and learning about their sex life. And, yes, this show beats Girls Bravo when it comes to bananas, lol, by not bothering about innuendo, with 2 women teaching a 3rd woman how to give oral sex using bananas.

What I like about it is that it's grounded in reality, despite the silliness and flights of fantasy, as most people who've been in a long term relationship will be able to identify with a lot of the situations that Makato and Yura end up in.

Plastic Little was the title that inspired the innovative and not at all cringe-inducingly embarrassing "jiggle counter," and it's a lot of fun. It has neat sci-fi wackiness to go with Satoshi Urushihara's art.

Of the titles you've listed, I've only seen "Ladies vs Butlers" and "Princess Lover". The first title is from the same studio who did "Kanokon", meaning a lot of slapstick fanservice, and it gets pretty amusing. "Princess Lover", if you've seen the uncensored episodes, only has nudity in two or three episodes, but hey, Charlotte Hazelrink and Sylvia van Hossen (who I think steals the show, gotta love anime girls with swords) are pretty hot. And then theres those two hentai OVA's that came out out last year.
As for myself, my favorite ecchi titles would be "Sekirei" (which I like to call the anti-"Strike Witches", give me those buxom superpowered ladies over lolicons anyday) , "Queen's Blade", "IkkiToussen", and "Kanokon".

If all you're looking for is fanservice, take a look at Daphne in the Brilliant Blue. Its basically a sci-fi show about beach cops, set in a world where 90% of all structures are directly on the beach. There's maybe ten minutes of the series where the main cast is dressed in normal clothes - the rest of the time they're in very revealling bathing suits.

Oh, and in the future, getting breast implants is apparently as common as getting braces - so there are many, many well-endowed women.
