NISA Website (http://disgaea.us/d4/)
Looks to have a "September 2011" release.
I always buy the Disgaea games, but I never feel like I make a dent in them; even if I do beat the main story. (which I haven't done since the first game)
They are also having a contest where you can name a sword, sword skill, and a Home Base character in the upcoming game. Could be fun, but I never do their contests.

I've bought each Disgaea game (well, the first version of each numbered entry), but the first one is the only one I've actually played and I didn't even beat that one. And yet, I'll be getting this one. With a Cthulhu-girl and a Prinny Girl, how could I not? *sigh*

And seeing as she won her round, Flonne will get everyone to buy a copy of this new iteration. (as she's in the game)

Etna and Laharl are there as well.

Hm... Don't know if I'm interested in ALL of those figures. I have time to decide though.

Art book? Hell yes.
Fuka figure? Fuck yes!
Other figures? Ehhh, depends on the price, but probably not. The only one I want is the Cthulu-girl. Well, I guess the pink haired girl is nice too. Not sure I'd want to pay even $10 extra for them, and it will probably cost at least that much more for the Super Premium version. Would probably do it if its only $5 though, but that seems pretty unlikely.

Gonna want to see some good shots of the figures before deciding if I want them, especially if they're going to want a small premium.
All I really want though is a new DoubleJump guide, but those guys seem to be hanging by a thread these days.

I definitely will plan to pre-order at least the premium set. As for the other figures, I'd probably want to see the price first before I decide.
Unless those figures are going for dirt cheap, the odds are I'll be going the cheap premium route. The ones they have pictures of right now look really cheap.
And...the fancy figure version costs $120 over the premium's $60. I don't know about the rest of you, but I don't think those figures are worth $60.

For me, it's not so much about the cost. I just don't see the appeal of buying figures for characters I don't know, unless I really like the design.

Pretty much agree that the $120 version is a "pass", as it doesn't seem to be worth it (not to mention it's more expensive than other LE sets for other video games).

Ahahaha. Yeah, no. I can't remotely justify paying that kind of money for that (for this game; if they did the same thing for Ar Tonelico III or do it for Atelier Totori or Meruru, I would totally pay it). Regular premium edition it is then.

Pretty much. Perhaps if it were the figs and a pass for all the unlockable/downloadable content at that price (which seems to run about as much as the game itself for NISA) I'd think about it. That price? No, not interested enough.

I still need better images of the figures before I can decide. They're a total pass as of the image on the store page, though.

Yep, basically. Just Fuka please!

That can, uh, just rot in its box. However many years that may take.

Yeah, that's.... kind of ugly. Though it doesn't look quite as ugly if you look at their other article (http://www.siliconera.com/2011/03/18/disgaea-4-trading-figurines-unboxed-and-on-display/) about the figuring collection it originally came from. But maybe that's just because of the crappy angle.
I'll still get the premium edition for the artbook, but that's a disappointing figure based on that picture.

Probably not the smartest move, NIS America. After all, people were pretty much expecting the Nendoroid figure, especially given the premium box version of Atelier Anine (not to mention that it gives people another reason NOT to pick up the $120 version).
Hopefully, this backlash will force NIS America to change their minds about which Fuuka figure comes with the game.

ESRB lays out the description
From the site
This is a strategy role-playing game in which players control a group of characters on a quest to bring order to the Netherworld. From a 3/4–overhead perspective, players use swords, axes, and magic spells to engage monsters and human-like characters in turn-based combat (e.g., selecting attacks/weapons from a menu screen). Battles are accompanied by light effects, slashing sounds, and cries of pain; enemies disappear when defeated. One special attack depicts a bullet striking an enemy's head, which is accompanied by slow-motion and X-ray effects. A few cutscenes depict brief stylized blood effects (e.g., an armored knight emitting blue droplets after getting impaled; the silhouette of blood splatter after a character is struck). During the course of the game, some of the dialogue includes suggestive comments (e.g., “You've earned the right to be called a pervert, by sneaking around and peeping on us,” “I just love it when men do things that constitute sexual harassment,” and “You're so flat, they use your chest to measure if a shelf is straight!”). The game also contains a brief drug reference (e.g., “If you inhale my dust, you'll get really happy. It might even make you feel like you can fly . . . Just say no, kids! Bad! Bad drugs!”). The words “sh*t,” “a*s,” and “b*tch” can be heard in dialogue.

Apparently there is pre-order bonus DLC for this game if you order it from the NISA store or GameStop. But oddly, I can't find any official mention of it on the product listings or the official Disgaea website. It's only mentioned in the GameStop product listing (http://www.gamestop.com/ps3/games/disgaea-4-a-promise-unforgotten-premium-edition/91447). It seems NISA only mentioned it being available by ordering from their store through e-mail. (http://www.esperino.com/rest-assured-doods-disgaea-4-preorder-to-receive-free-dlc)
