I searched, but I don't think I see a discussion thread for this, so here it is.
ANN page (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=12345) (the ANN ID number for this really amuses me...)
Official website (http://kc.kodansha.co.jp/azazel/)
As usual, please try to follow these three easy forum courtesy habits when replying:
1) If you're the first person to post about an episode in any given week, please respond to the root post (this post) and indicate in the subject line which episode you're posting about.
2) If someone has already posted about an episode before you, please respond to that post (or a relevant reply to that post). Keep in the right subthread.
3) Don't use the blue "Post Reply" button because it causes your reply not to correctly inherit the subject line of the post you're replying to. Just click "Quote" to the post you want to reply to.

I went in this not knowing too much what to expect: the promo images didn't seem too appealing, and neither did the OP when it started up. Mizushima Tsutomu directs, and he's been kind of hit or miss with comedy series for me (love Ika a lot, but didn't like Dokuro-chan or Kemeko DX at all). I found this to be pretty amusing in general, though. Not all of the jokes work, but quite a few were funny. I like hearing Onosaka Masaya as the title character (knew that was him...), and I don't think he tends to get any "major" character in recent years so it's pretty cool. The main female Sakuma seems interesting enough. I like her character design even if it doesn't really feel there's much that stands out about it. Akutabe could be be generally amusing too. I think one of my favorite bits was with the female demon of Azazel's type that was voiced by Kugimiya Rie. Hehe... (I wonder if she'll be showing up again at some point)
This episode seemed like it was a half-length one and sure enough it was... There seems to be quite a few of those this season (or maybe I just come across them more with there being so many series in general). That makes it easier to keep up provided I have the option to watch the rest, though. There also appears to be an OVA of Azazel-san with episodes of the same length. I think I will watch them, but may wait until the TV series has finished airing (if anyone else wants to discuss them in this thread, then feel free, just make sure you distinguish it in the subthread title, like "OVA Episode 1" or such).

I didn't know much about it either, though the OP did look amusing. I wound up laughing quite a bit throughout the episode, so I'm in. The demon girlfriend was a hoot, as was his reaction once she was banished.
It surprised me that the episode was basically a setup for the real premise of a young girl stuck with a contract with a lust demon, however inept. Now I'm really intrigued. It's likely to be totally nuts, which I like.

I had a kind of opposite reaction... about the only thing that I really found funny was Kugimiya playing the female demon, and the G****m jokes. That's OK- there's WAY too much this season form me to watch everything anyway, and having an easily decided 'drop' is nice.

Well, I would guess no one is going to read this unless someone decides to cruise the most recently responded-to threads...
I'm still having fun with it. Rinko can be unexpectedly adult in the most selfish way which is so out of character for this type of situation that it's really funny. The demons are really demonic: selfish, amoral (at best!), take joy in bringing pain. They make Neuro (Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro) look like a philanthropist. The addition of Akutabe's nephew just ramped up the craziness. He looks like he could be Akutabe in a few years once he stops giving a shit about other people, to the limited extent that he does.
So in summary, everyone's behavior is so horrifying, it's entertaining.
