Milfie is a given as my draft character. Plus, I like Espers. I also like how she's associated with water. Works for me. Eclair is awesome and thus deserves a vote.

The third vote is going to be fun. Carmen is out. Stiltskin is not likely. Gilgamesh has a cool tune, but that's not enough to get me to vote for him. Main thing I remember about Miharu is bananas.

This would leave the third vote between Shion and Miku. Shion would have the story advantage due to the anime, but then again Miku does have the strong fun factor.

Vote #1 goes to Finnel, for being hilariously M and just generally being cute and fun. .... I guess Eclair and Gilgamesh get my remaining votes by default, due to being the only other characters from game's I've played, but I seriously considered only casting one vote.

Reanbell, Miku, and the truly lovely Momohime for me. Strong three for me personally, at this stage of the game.

Jumping right in, this round's candidates:

Miku Hatsune (not from a game though, just Vocaloid in general)
Carmen Sandiego

Well, then. It's another sparse round for me. Miku gets a vote because Miku! Regardless of the fact that I've never played her in any game, I've heard some of her Vocaloid stuff, and it helps that her personification is rather pleasing to the eye.

Carmen gets the nostalgia vote. Though I don't think I ever actually finished any of those games. I have the NES iteration that came with that brick of a reference book. And I remember playing one of the computer versions way back in the day on 5.25" floppies.

(FFV is still in my backlog, doh! And I don't have Crystal Chronicles. Yet, anyway.)

1) Because she's ONE OF THE ABSOLUTE BEST THINGS IN THE HISTORY OF EVER and the top character in the draft by about 109123897891231*10^893131252 light years. Miku is life. Miku is everything. Miku is infinite.
2) Yay for visual novels I've actually played. I liked her ever since I first saw the anime, which was long before I read the VN.
3) She's really hot and I'd looked at a lot of fanart of her long before this draft was started.

I played probably no more than fifteen minutes of Muramasa, but Momohime is just damn hot. I couldn't resist that Alter figure.

Finnel is...uh...frustrating. Her issue is one I guess I'm just not compatible with. But I suppose that's what makes her interesting.

Then Miku, who simply has one of my favorite designs of all time. I have to get a figure someday.

Really hated cutting Shion, but had to go with Momohime. Miku was of course my pick, and Finnel is just, well, awesome on every level.

In the end, Shion won out. My familiarity with her was a definite factor. As was the strength of the story she's part of. That and she's hot. Decide for yourself what the defining reason.

Apologies to Miku and others, but someone had to lose out. Although the important thing in the end was making sure Milfie got a vote. That and I felt it was my duty to make sure Eclair got support.

For what it's worth, the only reason I didn't vote for Carmen Sandiego too is that I missed she was there (doesn't seem like she needed my help, though). Maybe not for the character herself, but the franchise has a lot of nostalgia value for me since I played one of the PC games a lot in the 90's and occasionally watched the TV game show.
