I seen the video last night and I nearly jizzed. I am a huge COD player have all titles on 360, PS3 and PC, just so I get to play everyone, lol.

Didn't Mechwarrior 3 come out like 15 years ago?

You need to make clearer topic titles in the future.

I'm not getting it simply because I hate Activision very, very much and am boycotting the company. >_>
Haven't bought an Activision game in years.

No, I'm certainly not excited for yet another Call of Duty, and another Modern Warfare at that. The teasers haven't revealed anything interesting, and given that it's an IW game I have little reason to think there will be any new gameplay like we saw hints of in Black Ops. Besides, it's not like this game is even being made by the same people, given that most of Infinity Ward left to form Respawn.

Considering that Mechwarrior 3 has been effectively off the radar for many, many years now, and that Activision's branding for Modern Warfare 3 explicitly uses the characters "MW3", I didn't think the title was unclear at all.
Heck, I don't think any of the trailers I've seen so far have actually referred to the game as "Modern Warfare 3". It's all been "Call of Duty: MW3".

Ditto. Here's hoping 2011 will be a better year for military shooters than 2010. Medal of Honor was pretty good -- Black Ops, not so much. A bit too corny and James Bond-esque for my taste.
BF3 looks like it'll deliver pacing and gameplay similar to MoH -- a bit slower-paced, with more of an emphasis on effective use of cover. MW3, on the other hand, looks like it'll do a nice job indeed of duplicating MW2's bombast.
Out of all the PC shooters I've got, MW2 is the one that never gets uninstalled to make room for something else. The pacing of the levels is perfect for when you just need a quick adrenaline fix.

This! OMG this! its the first thing I disliked about Black Ops.. the levels just seems too big and way to many ways to get to the same spot (two to three entrances to every building). I loved the size of the MW2 maps and the much more intelligent respawn system.

MW3 premier trailer is on the front page of xbox.com.
Looks...very badass and insanely epic.

Nope, I gave up on MW after how terrible the second one was. It should have been a great game, and instead, they decided to cheap out on the game's story and focus solely on crappy multiplayter. And since Infinity Ward is not doing MW3 (for obvious reasons), I will not touch it.

From the looks of it, Activision has only slightly tweaked the IW engine while EA has totally over-hauled the engine for Battlefield 3. I expect a funner multiplayer experience with Battlefield 3 due to map size and lots of people (for PC!)

Infinity Ward along with Sledgehammer Games and Raven Software is making Modern Warfare 3. ;)

It may be a company named "Infinity Ward", its not at all the same people.

It was a joke.
The point is that people need to make decent topic titles. This is important.

I'm done with COD for now. The story in the MW series has played second fiddle to the multiplayer and unless something dramatically new is coming out, I'm not interested. Black Ops brought a decent story into the mix that I enjoyed playing, but the multiplayer gameplay wasn't dramatically different from MW2. Why pay $60 for effectively a new map pack with minor changes elsewhere and a stunted story mode? I'll pass.
