Not one of my favorite shows, but decent enough despite its goofiness and yay more Sawashiro Miyuki. I'm notoriously bad at actually getting around to watching movies and OVAs though so there's a good chance I'll never watch this despite intending to. :sd:

The light novels are getting a "small size edition" rerelease that's been selling in excess of 150k. At latest listings for each:

241,263 Toshokan Sensou vol.1 Small Sized Edition
171,926 Toshokan Sensou vol.2 Small Sized Edition
126,522 Toshokan Sensou vol.3 Small Sized Edition

Pretty massive for a series that has already been released and did... I don't know what but presumably a whole lot the first time. TV anime also did just over 10k.

It is a while after the TV series though, yeah.
