Blood-C is the most horrible show ever made. Do not watch it. Seriously.

Mayo Chiki is a generic harem romantic comedy. You know and like these shows.

Dantalian no Shoka is...unusual.

Blood-C is both torture and gore porn and a sickeningly sweet, dull slice of life school show. The show starts with lots of the slice of life and little of the torture/gore porn. As it goes on you get more and more gore until it goes way over the top into the realm of comedy. It doesn’t really have characters or a plot. The characters exist to facilitate the gore and the slice of life and there is a twist that is supposed to make up for a plot in the last handful of episodes. I hated the show because it was boring with bad characters and seemed targeted to people who love gore and watching people get ripped apart or eaten while begging for their lives. It does have some well choreographed action scenes though.

Ao no Exorcist is a typical shounen supernatural animé. It has some likeable leads and some interesting action and a few touching moments but if you like supernatural shounen then all of this will be quite predictable. It’s not bad but it isn’t going to be making new converts to the genre.

Mayo Chiki is just another generic ecchi harem comedy. It does nothing special but it does nothing awful either, so if you are short on your quota of generic ecchi harem comedies and cliches you might give this one a look.

Dantalian no Shoka is an episodic supernatural tale about magical books, the people affected by the books, magical libraries in the form of young women and their partners called key keepers set in what feels like a post World War I England. Each episode deals with one or more books and their consequences. It is a lot like Kino’s Journey or Mushishi in feel but not as good. I enjoyed it but it’s slow pacing, fondness for reading lengthy passages as spells and the fact the show seems to deliberately keep you at arms length from the main characters is likely to turn off many.

How does it compare with Blood the last vampire and Blood+?

Well it made me not want to watch anything Blood ever again. Blood+ was pretty bad already, but I kind of just hope the Blood series dies because of Blood-C. It's that terrible.

There's no tension what so ever, either, because Saya is completely unstoppable so it's just a pointless gorefest with some decent animation at points. It's a shame because when you saw who was on the project it sounded really promising.

The user who you quoted was spot on, really.

Far worse. And I don't think either are particularly good.

Blood-C: Like Fencedude, Lester, and Mariya said, this is a bad show. It's, at best, an epic waste of time, and at worst a scarring series that I do regret watching. By all means, do not watch this. There are thousands of better series to watch than this, so don't watch this. Just don't. The story is non existent and it hinges on a single gimmicky plot twist. It is essentially a poorly done advertisement for an movie.

Ao no Exorcist: (note: not finished this one yet, but almost there) A generic shonen school life/fighting series. It started out like it might be something interesting, but it went straight to the same generic premise as millions of other series. It's okay, and can be fun for a watch every now and then, but don't expect much.

Mayo Chiki: Like Fencedude said, this is the type of show you like. As I know you like yuri and/or ecchi fanservice, I'll let you know that there isn't all that much of it. Still, I had fun with it.
