Ok so watched the first episode of Dantalian but people have told me it isn't really any good and ripped off Gossick which is good. Not having seen the first episode of Gosick and in the past having no interest in this show at alll...asking for information. None of this is meant to raise hackles I am sorry if it does.
1. What I loved about Dantalian was the philosophy and potential for deep exploration of that side. The idea of knowledge that shouldn't be known (is there truth that we shouldn't know) and the nihilistic philosophy read from the book in the first episode and how it was used to tell the main characters history (and was a good response to that history). Does the show do this for its entire run, does it delve into these issues with any depth at all?
2. Gossick seemed like a show more interested in cute (though it did that very well) is that not a good description? Does it actually pick up on the "deepness" that Dantalian looks like it will but I have been told it does not? Thanks fellow maniacs!
