I've been meaning to update mine, although I haven't in over a year. So I might as well post a new thread.
I wasn't planning on doing a running tally with points and all like we used to, because I don't think things really change fast enough to need it. So this will be less formal than the previous ones... in other words, divide (or don't) however you want, list less or more than 10, use whatever criteria you deem fit, whatever you feel like doing.
Previous thread: http://www.mania.com/aodvb/showthread.php?p=1811736
Will be posting my update as a reply.

I had last updated this a long time ago for when I added K-ON! in recognition of the second season blowing me away. 13 months later I'm back, and updating it again... for the same show.
01) Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu ◄0►

03) K-ON! ▲6
04) Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha ▼1
05) Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann ▼1

08) Hidamari Sketch ▲2
09) Kanon 2006 ▼3
10) Touka Gettan ▼3
There are a lot of reasons behind this... but the most important is that it's one of those franchises I've just come to love more and more as time has gone by, not less. There are many shows that I genuinely adore, but once they're over the experience just kind of... ends. AnoHana is a recent example - beautiful show, definitely one of the best I've seen and deserving of that elusive 10/10. But have I really thought of it since it ended? Not much... and that's not at all a knock on the show, it's just a sign of how rare it is for a show to stay in my mind continuously for months and months, let alone years, when I'm watching 12-25 new shows a season and working overtime every week.
K-ON!, on the other hand, I've just never gotten over loving. After season one, we got the second season. Then there's the approximately 30 CDs I own from it, with all kinds of great music. Then there's the live concerts, first Let's Go! then Come With Me!!, both of which I gushed about at length in the JP forum K-ON! thread. And now the movie is coming, so I have yet more to look forward to. And I don't even read the manga because I want to avoid spoiling the inevitable third season of the anime, so that's a whole huge area more I could be experiencing. Since the anime has ended, Kotobuki Tsumugi has actually gone up my list of favorite characters, sitting behind only Furukawa Nagisa (#1), Suzumiya Haruhi and Hatsune Miku - third if you exclude Miku for not really being an anime character. This franchise just never ends for me. (Obviously, it has the advantage of being ludicrously successful and an infinite stream of merchandise... a show like Touka Gettan could never compete on those terms.)
Music plays a big part as well. The Ookami to Koushinryou series may not be the best (though it's quite good, both seasons get a 9/10 from me) but every time I listen to Mitsu no Yoake (literally my favorite song ever) I think about how much I like the show, and that magnifies its stature in my mind beyond what the anime alone would warrant. And K-ON! has music, for damn sure. The same applies to Clannad and Aria especially, but others as well. It's obviously playing a big part in how deeply I'm getting into Idolmaster as well, perhaps unsurprisingly. Back to K-ON!... I'm listening to Tenshi ni Fureta yo! as I type this. How could I ever stop loving this show?
For every Monday through Thursday night at approximately 9PM EST I've been having what I've dubbed Houkago Soup Time. A warm bowl of soup (I don't drink tea or like sweets, unfortunately), and an episode of K-ON!. I just finished episode 12 of the first season, i.e. their awesome season-ending (well, sort of, there's the special and BD episode) concert. It's pretty amazing how the show can follow a tiring 10-11 hour workday and, in 25 minutes, make everything in the world right again. The show really hasn't lost one bit of its impact on me. At my current pace, one a night four days a week, the second season should last me through December 7th. It's hard not to watch multiple at once though...
K-ON! is also the best example of the way my Top 10 has changed in the past year or two. It's become so packed that a one season show just can't make it in anymore. I don't think I'll ever see a one cour or even two cour show that, by itself, cracks in. Hell, if Madoka couldn't do it, you know nothing can. My top 10 now is really more like a top 10 franchises. Only four of the 10 are one season and all of them are two cour, and they're all from 2008 or earlier. It's all about how a franchise thrives over time I guess. More stuff is more stuff to love, and the only thing better than a great show is a great show twice. If Madoka continues like Shinbou wants, I could see it cracking in past some of the one season shows... Touka Gettan and Kanon's spots are up for grabs, barely. Toradora and Gurren Lagann are a bit safer for now.
Anyway, yes, this thread is 50%... okay maybe 80% an excuse to gush about how much I'm still loving K-ON!. But I really have been really wanting to update the list for a while, and it seems better to start fresh than to bump an old thread.

This list will likely change frequently:
01. Clannad/Clannad After Story
02. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
03. The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya/The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya
04. Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion/Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2
05. Cowboy Bebop
06. Steins;Gate
07. Gintama/Gintama'
08. Rurouni Kenshin: Trust & Betrayal
09. Neon Genesis Evangelion
10. Legend of the Galactic Heroes
Specifically, Steins;Gate will likely move up even more. I could see it moving up as high as #3. Hell, it could even get to #2. Definitely not #1, though. There's a big gap there. I basically did my micro-review post for the past season in the Currently Watching thread to gush about it more, so most of my thoughts are over there. As for why it could keep moving up on my list, I just keep thinking about it, posting about it, discussing it, re-watching it, re-watching the rest of my list, and I just keep realizing how much I love it more and more. So that's the big thing I'm thinking about regarding my list these days. I may update at any time, and it will likely be to bump Steins;Gate up more.

I... probably should update my list. It has been almost four years and about half of the shows I had listed shouldn't be there based on my current feelings. The problem is I don't have any replacements. The titles that could take their place, like Angel Beats and K-On!, I never finished. And I don't feel right ranking anime as tier one when I've yet to complete them. Others, like OreImo, are far too risky until I know there is an acceptable ending. Then there are shows that have potential but I've yet to really dive into (IMS) or are just now airing (Haganai).
Kanon, Clannad, D.C., Higurashi, Hayate, and Stellvia aren't going anywhere. But that still leaves four slots. I guess I'll just have to think about it.

I hope I don't mess up the thread system again. Anyway, here goes!
1) Sayonara, Zetsubou Sensei
2) Hidamari Sketch
3) Maho Shoujo Madoka Magica
4) Maria Holic
5) Katte ni Kaizo
6) Eden of the East/Higashi no Eden
7) Neon Genesis Evangelion
8) Toaru Majutsu no Index
9) Steins;Gate
10) Code Geass
Eden of the East was a very enjoyable series. To me it felt really original and all of the characters were fantastic, even with very limited screentime. It was an amazing series even with an ending which may of felt a little bit off at points. It's great.
Sayonara, Zetsubou Sensei was and still is brilliant. I never knew I'd love Japanese political humour as much as I would. The characters are named after, and most are based off of, modern controversial issues in Japan, and even though it's poking fun at them Kumeta develops the characters very well even with these limitations. The series manga or anime, is always funny. I hope SHAFT in some way can produce more, they even snuck some SZS into the Negima! Anime FINAL apparently, SHAFT must really like it as much as I do.
Hidamari Sketch, I hardly need to say anything about this series for you to know why it's close to the top. It's relaxing, and has fantastic characters. Miyako is always great, everything she says is perfect.
Maria Holc. I feel like I have to defend this one in some way. My username is to some extent based on the male lead of this series, but not too much. It's actually based on my real name too, I feel like I've said that before somewhere. Mariya is a crossdresser who picks on Kanako and his maid, Matsurika, is brilliant, and his maid is actually my favourite character. A lot of people consider this series hateful towards lesbians and such. Not... at all, really. I can see why some would think that, but it's really not. There's a ton of well drawn lesbian imagery within the anime. It's never downright hateful towards anyone, Mariya is just a bitch to anyone who gets close to ruining his "dream". Also I think in the manga it turns out Mariya just straight up has gender identity issues and isn't doing this whole competition just for the "sport" of it. He kind of likes being a girl. Also it's a lovely looking series and the soundtrack is probably the best soundtrack to any comedy so far.
Katte ni Kaizo (or Katteni Kaizou) is another one of Kumeta's works. Like Sayonara, Zetsubou Sensei to some extent it's a political humour, but when it first started as a manga it was raunchy. The OVA's adapt this change too. OVA episodes 1 and 2 are just full of gay jokes, sex jokes, people getting erections, piss jokes, men accidentally having sex with each other and at one point a guy ejaculates on his own face. Truly it's the greatest anime of all time, right? Well, sadly, after OVA 1 and 2 the series becomes political to the way SZS is political, to some extent. It's based on people who have some kind of issue, like SZS. Kaizo thinks he's a cyborg and some of the science club, and it's older members, are just crazy. The series is bananas and I can't wait for the 3rd BD next week.
From here on it's series' basically everyone has seen. I felt like I needed to explain my top 5 at the least. Code Geass is there because that series is so friggin' dumb I just can't help but love it. A beautiful mess is what I would call it.
My list is largely dominated by SHAFT and Shinbo's sense of humour is great. Though I can understand why some people may hate his humour.
Edit: Changed Eden to 6 instead of 1. I realised my love for Shinbo runs deeper than it should.
Edit 2: I'm an idiot and completely forgotten about Madoka Magica at 5am.

Been a while since I updated:
1) Saber Marionette (entire series from J all the way to J to X)
2) Battle Athletes Victory
3) Ping Pong Club
4) Daphne in the Brilliant Blue
5) Strike Witches (all seasons)
6) El Cazador de la Bruja
7) Yuru Yuri
8) Jubei-chan the Ninja Girl (all seasons)
9) Getsumen to Heiki Mina
10) Queen's Blade/Mitsudomoe (tie)
I think my No 1 has remained constant for the last 15 years. They just don't make them like they used to.

10) Darker Than Black
Last night I was a complete idiot. I went dumb for an entire hour and forgot to include, potentially, the best anime this year. I have no idea how I forgotten this.
1) Sayonara, Zetsubou Sensei
2) Hidamari Sketch
3) Maho Shoujo Madoka Magica
4) Maria Holic
5) Katte ni Kaizo

How could I be such an idiot? Of course Madoka Magica way up at the top.
This isn't a, stuff went down, stuff went up in my list. This is just me correcting my list. I'll update the original post now.

My tentative top 10:
Naruto/Naruto Shippuden
Fullmetal Alchemist (2003)
Blood+
Bleach
Samurai Champloo
Basilisk
Death Note
Inuyasha
Elfen Lied
Black Lagoon
Comments no one probably cares about:
The reason it's "tentative" is that there are a few shows I've seen that should probably be on this list, but that I haven't yet rewatched and thus don't know exactly where they should fit in, namely Soul Eater, Higurashi, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, and Code Geass. If I were to take those into consideration, Elfen Lied and Black Lagoon at least would almost certainly not be here, but they're both great shows so I want to include them for now. I'll update this in a few months (or more) when I've rewatched some of them.
As for the ranking itself... there is absolutely no competition for #1. From there on, it gets a little trickier. The main problem is Bleach. In a way I feel like it should be #2, and in a way I feel like it shouldn't even be on the list. It has a lot of great parts, but also a lot of really boring filler that really weighs it down... so right now I decided to go with my traditional rankings and put it behind FMA and Blood+, but ahead of Samurai Champloo. The same thing applies for Inuyasha, in a way... although the filler in that one doesn't bother me as much... I might move Inuyasha up later, or not. This is what I'm going with for now.
Other series of note... whenever I eventually get around to watching One Piece (I liked it a lot dubbed on TV, but I'm not sure how or when I want to go about watching it now...), that will almost certainly be on the list. I could also see Hunter x Hunter being on here eventually, but the first series (OVAs included) didn't quite make it and obviously the new one will have to go for quite a while longer before it can even get close...

Honestly, there's only 6 series that I feel worthy of being called "favorites" (mostly because they're the 6 that I've imported/will import).
1. The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya:
The drug that got me into the anime medium to begin with. A show that sparked many philosophical conversations with friends and yet remains open to new viewers. Something that can be watched in multiple ways, yet still find a way to make sense. Seeing the movie in a sold out theatre with other fans is still one of the happiest days of my life. I could go on and on, but I'm sure my post will be long enough as is. Having read the rest of the novels (and helped somewhat in fan-translation of the latest two), I know there's some great scenes to come. Plus the next season focuses on my favorite girl!
2. Toradora!:
My go-to example of why I say I'm not always right. After watching the first episode, I hated the character designs, felt the show was tired and cliche and nearly dropped it. Encouragement kept me going and I'm incredibly grateful I didn't drop the show. The story kept dragging me in and in as the series went on. It was the first show that made me truly upset that it was over when the final scene ended. A wonderful story. Bring on the OVA!
3. Clannad/Clannad ~After Story~:
Everyone is a part of the big Dango family! I had heard the expression "Clannad is life" beforehand, but really nothing else describes the series without going into spoilers. I laughed, I cried, and after watching 2/3 back-to-back, I went emotionless for about two weeks afterwards. While the final episode is a bit weird, it's still a very touching story.
4. Hanasaku Iroha:
A bit recent, but still one that I fell in love with at first sight. One of my most anticipated shows of the year that somewhat disappointed me during the middle episodes, but had some amazing episodes throughout the run. I was still upset the day after that there wouldn't be another episode the following week. While the story faltered, I felt the cast of characters were all great, especially Ohana and Nako. The new story should be great next year.
5. To Aru Kagaku no Railgun:
I'm a fan of the psudeoscience that the Raildex universe uses in Academy City as it's somewhat logically consistent unlike the magic side. Having said that, focusing on the quartet of girls was a great strategy for the story as it allowed the universe to grow, yet remained stable throughout the run. Saten's scenes in the final two episodes were great and helped cement her as one of my favorite characters. The next arc will be very interesting as it'll adapt something that most fans saw from the Index anime first.
6. Saki:
When I think of this show, the word "fun" immediately pops into my head. It's a show about crazy mahjong playing with loads of yuri subtext yet it never takes itself truly seriously. I greatly enjoyed the characterization that was given to all four final teams and for the first time in a series, couldn't pick a team I wanted to win even though the outcome was obvious. I can't wait for the spinoff to start next spring.
Outside of these six, I find it very difficult to say a show fits on my "favorites" list. While I may like a show or think it's good, no others really fit into the category that these franchises are in.

It has been over a year since I made a list so this seems like a good time for a new one.
The top 10 shows have not changed, but the order certainly has.
I am not going to quote my list from the previous thread, but the changes that are shown here are relative to that list.
My Top 11
1. Case Closed - Up from #4
2. InuYasha - Up from #5
3. My Otome - Up from #7
4. My HiME - Up from #8
5. Aria - Down from #2
6. Cardcaptor Sakura - Down from #3
7. Maria Watches Over Us - Down from #1
8. Kiddy Grade - Down from #6
9. Fancy Lala - No change
10. Stellvia - No change
11. Lucky Star - New to the list
The biggest surprise for me was the precipitous plunge of Maria Watches Over Us from #1 to #7. I love the show as much as I did before, but I just have not really thought about it for several months.
The same can be said, to a lesser degree, for Aria and Cardcaptor Sakura and Kiddy Grade.
The other shows have moved up mostly because I have watched them recently.
Case Closed and InuYasha are helped by that fact that I really like the movies and manga for them. I think that is fair because I really cannot divide my enjoyment of them into different media. It is all part of one grand experience.
I made this a top 11 list because I really wanted to include Lucky Star but I am not quite ready to drop anything out of the top 10 to make room fro it.

My top 10:
1) Highschool of the Dead
2) Freezing (tentative)
3) Fate/stay night
4) School Rumble
5) Hayate no Gotoku
6) One Piece
7) Kara no Kyoukai
8) Full Metal Panic
9) Bakemonogatari
10) K-On!
My number one is Highschool of the Dead. I've read the manga since it's inception and was a huge fan from the get go. The combination of zombies and ecchi was a great mixture. The characters have great personality and it's been a joy to see how they develop. The story is also intriguing as you can delve into "what would you do" situations. A lot of people didn't like the anime due to the excessive nudity. I didn't mind it one bit. The author, Shouji Sato, is also a hentai writer under the name of Inazuma. Knowing this, I expected the anime to be full on and it didn't disappoint.
I have Freezing as tentative because I haven't quite finished watching the anime. I stopped at episode 9 and I'm waiting for the BD's to be finished translating (or for the actual English BD's to be released). So far, the anime has been good and the only thing that can ruin it would be the anime deterring from the manga. An original ending would be disastrous just like with Omamori Himari. Himari had such huge potential with a good manga yet it dropped from my top ten as the ending just ruined it. I'm hoping Freezing doesn't take the same turn.
I love the highschool comedy genre. I find animes like this to be hilarious and just keep me entertained the best. School Rumble, Hayate no Gotoku, Full Metal Panic and you could add K-On! to that list. I was really close to adding Seitokai Yakuindomo, but just too many to list.
Fate/stay night is probably higher than it should be. I love the series and while the anime wasn't the best, it got me hooked on anime. It was one of the first anime I've watched and the story and action had me. The anime eventually lead me into playing the visual novel which made my appreciate for Fate/stay night grow even more.

Right, so since the last time I did this, we've got one new show on the list plus some rearranging in light of me suddenly changing my mind on the lower entries in comparison to each other, which were always arranged kinda arbitrarily to begin with.
1. Clannad (7809)
2. Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann (6698)
3. One Piece (836)
4. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (10216)
5. Puella Magi Madoka Magica (12120)
6. Kanon 2006 (6431)
7. The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (6430)
8. Azumanga Daioh (799)
9. Ouran High School Host Club (6122)
10. ef - a tale of memories (8192)
Madoka enters the list at fifth place, I suddenly change my mind about Air being better than ef or Ouran, and as such, it is my previous #8 that vanishes from the list while #9 and #10 get to stay where they were.

So yeah, like I said about Steins;Gate... after doing more of what I said I was doing, I did in fact realize that it had to go up to #3. And I still think it could go up to #2. Also, I finally saw Toradora!, based mostly on hearing so many people on here love it. As you can see, I may not rate it quite as highly as many of those people, but I can definitely see why it's so highly rated in the first place.

It hadn't been terribly active for over a year, and Moe Moe Taiga has like 10 posts total in the past year (so back even before the split) as well, so I think it was pretty well dead and buried. I linked it in the OP if you want to see it.

I've been slacking off with anime for the past 3-4 months due to work and basically all of my free time been spent playing some kind of videogame. So for the time being I'm just going to do a top 3-5 until I can remember other series I've enjoyed.
01.) Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood - Just an overall great experience from beginning to end. The cast is great, the animation is great, and then the story is great. I don't know if I've ever stated my opinion about the original anime, but due to Ed and Al they practically ruined the experience for me, while here in Brotherhood they're way better. It took a while for me to get used to the artwork since I thought it was really good in the original, but it still worked out. I wish Bones would handle a lot of shonen action anime since they seem to be far more consistent and the animation remains fluent.
02.) Samurai Champloo - I'm just a sucker for samurai anime and while I'm not as big a hip hop fan I used to be, they just blended well together. Then we have the fights. They were a treat to see. Mugen and Jin are great and funny characters. I found Fuu to be on the annoying side, but that's typical of me because I tend to find all damsels annoying. My favorite episode is with the Kunoichi. I want my Nookie! :)
03.) Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex - I think this was my #1 for about 4-5 years now. The main reason why it dropped was because I wore myself out on it lol. I can't watch it like I used to anymore. The animation is still top-notch and I will still compare just about every anime to this when it comes to animation because it is just that great IMO.

Another thread reminded me that I haven't updated my favorites in some time, even though Madoka entered months ago after a rewatch.
Old list 2011/10/18 (http://www.mania.com/aodvb/showthread.php?p=1963294#post1963294):

So that's 4 from KyoAni (3 if you want to be strict and limit to top 10) and 2 from Shaft. Other studios just have one each
Madoka is the kind of title I felt should be in my top 10, but I couldn't decide where. So I told myself I'd wait to see if it got a sequel. Then the movie was announced and I figured I'd wait for that. But after rewatching the show (going through episodes once normally, then again with the seiyuu/staff commentary) I knew it has to be in there somewhere.
It's really after a variety of things (some really great MADs, the "best lines" countdown on the official website, lots of great fanart, etc) that I decided to rank it so highly. Madoka is a near perfect example of the power of things outside of the anime to reinforce so strongly the things I like about the anime.
It's also, by the by, the only one-cour franchise in my top 10. More than that with the movies, but I haven't seen them yet and it's only the third that will add substantively to the length.
Oh and making my list a top 11 also made it easier to add something because I can tell myself I didn't boot Kanon out yet. :sd:

03. The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (10924) Up from #4
04. InuYasha (159) Down from #2

09. Cardcaptor Sakura (126)
10. Kiddy Grade (891)
Normally I would have included K-On!! with K-On! but I listed them separately because ANN has different numbers for them. And this allows me to list it twice.:)
Case Closed and Aria fell off of the list because I have not watched them recently.

1) Sayonara, Zetsubou Sensei
2) Hidamari Sketch
3) Maho Shoujo Madoka Magica
4) Maria Holic
5) Katte ni Kaizo
6) Eden of the East/Higashi no Eden
7) Neon Genesis Evangelion
8) Toaru Majutsu no Index
9) Steins;Gate
10) Code Geass
I've no idea what mindset I was in when I wrote this, how is Evangelion so damn low? Maybe it's just how I felt at the time. Time for a much needed update.
1) Neon Genesis Evangelion
2) Hyouka
3) Bakemonogatari/Nisemonogatari
4) Haruhi Suzumiya
5) Honey & Clover
6) K-ON!
7) Eden of the East
8) Maho Shoujo Madoka Magica
9) Fate/Zero
10) Steins;Gate
That's more like it. When I say Haruhi, K-ON! and Eden of the East, that includes all seasons and movies.
Hyouka is seriously so good, like oh man how does one series be so good? Yonezawa deserves the most credit for writing the novels but the direction and the writing within the show itself is so good. Some complain that Hyouka is slow, but for me the pace felt right for this kind of series. People want Gatoh to write a new FMP anime, well I just want more Hyouka. Though we'll have to wait on Yonezawa to finish up the story and for someone at KyoAni to beg Kadokawa to allow them to make more.
And the rest below Evangelion and Hyouka are anime. I like them. Not as much as Hyouka and Evangelion though.

A sequel would be a good start. Movie might help. But it's definitely one of the shortlisted titles.
Besides the franchises in my Top 11, I've given at least one part of the following TV franchises (alphabetical, completed shows only) a 10/10:
Air
Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai
Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch
Durarara!!
ef - a tale of memories.
Full Moon wo Sagashite
Gakuen Utopia Manabi Straight!
Heroic Age
Hourou Musuko
Hyouka
Lucky☆Star
Maria-sama ga Miteru
Mouretsu Pirates
Serial Experiments Lain
Sora no Woto
The iDOLM@STER
Uchuu no Stellvia
Usagi Drop
Out of 443 completed TV series, 697 including dropped series. So even if I don't put it in My Top 10, Mouretsu is still in my top 5%, and Marika in my top 10 characters all time.
There are also some franchises I've never given a 10/10 to any individual part of, but would consider on par with many of the above shows in the aggregate, in terms of sheer enjoyment. Saki, Strike Witches, and maybe Ghost in the Shell for example.

For the first time ever, here is my Top 10:
01) Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu
02) Clannad
03) K-ON!
04) Toradora!
05) Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica
06) Mouretsu Pirates
07) Aria
08) Kanon 2006
09) Hyouka
10) Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann
It was quite difficult to do my top 10. Selecting only 10 shows, took me a long time. It’s the first list I did, it took me time mostly because I wanted to wait to have watched everything I wanted before doing it. So now that I don’t have show that didn’t air to watch, I was finally able to do the list.
01) Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu: This is my most favorite anime ever. I love tremendously everything from it. I will watch it for a second time (first season for a third time) soon. I have the music of it of course and enjoyed it quite a lot. I would like so much (will never happened) to have the background music of it… if only it was not only included on the DVD LE. (Why don’t they do like Bake?)
02) Clannad: I finished that one not too long ago and I love it tremendously as well. It made me cried, like no series did in the past. I want to rewatch it, but will probably rewatch Kanon first. I currently (while posting) listening to the music of it, what I like the most is to remember the scenes when I listen to a piece of music. Next time, I will listen to the music, I will do a track list. The track list will contain all the tracks that were used in the anime, in the order they were first played in the anime, that way I will remember the scenes it comes from even more.
03) K-ON!: This is amazing, such a great entertainment. I didn’t even finish that one at this time (episode 16 of K-ON!!) but I know this one will be in third place. Can’t wait to finish it and watch the movie… I only listened to the music of the first season… I listened to it many times already. I can’t wait to add the second season and movie music.
04) Toradora!: This is also another amazing show. I need to watch this one for a second time. Soon, really soon.
05) Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica: So, this is the first show of the list that I don’t own on JP BD. I feel quite sad about it. But, at least I have the Aniplex USA version, which are really good. For the series itself, I’m out of word; I don’t know how to describe what this one made me feels.
06) Mouretsu Pirates: Just look at my signature! ^_^ Just to think I almost didn’t import this one... This was probably the show that was the first sign I would completely quit R1 couple months later. Now, that’s another show I need to watch for a second time… But for now, I can listen to the music and audio drama (thanks Something for making the translation available.) I can’t wait for the movie and a second season!
07) Aria: I love so much the pace of this one, I love to follow the characters. This show would need another season to follow Ai this time and to witness so many adorable moments with her and Akari. Also, another season would make Japan release the BDs for the first three seasons, right?
08) Kanon 2006: This show made me cry as well, not as much as Clannad, Clannad was just another level, but this one still has its place in my top 10. I will probably rewatch this just before rewatching Clannad.
09) Hyouka: This one was probably the biggest surprise in my top 10. Being a KyoAni show, I knew I would enjoy it, but never thought it would be at that level. I could watch this one without sound and still enjoy it. It may be incomplete, but it’s complete in the sense of what is available to be animated.
10) Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann: My list would be incomplete without this show. I watched this one three times (including the movies!)

I've made that playlist myself, if you'd like the listing of tracks. Of course I used those forum posts linked to in your thread on AoD/Mania, but you still have to search through to tell which ones aren't repeats.
Too bad my copy of Mabinogi hasn't arrived yet... I sent Treasure Japan my shipping request 3 weeks ago today. The shipping method is "EMS ( with tracking number )", but I can't find any alleged tracking number. At any rate, the songs from Mabinogi are included in my playlist, since I had already downloaded when I thought there was no chance of getting the CD at a reasonable price.
Also, I updated that compiled list with your top 10.

Alright, I'll do that when I get back home tomorrow (I came to a relative's house for the holidays yesterday), if there's still no sign of it. Thanks for the advice; that's really weird that this would keep happening if it's not supposed to. Hopefully I can get it pretty soon.

I emailed them on Monday and haven't gotten any word back since, nor has the CD showed up.
That's even more weird... Sorry about that since it's partly my fault...
What to do...

If only I didn't suggest you to go with them...
But here is the exact e-mail I got from him, maybe you can send him another one with the e-mail quoted:
Thank you for your email and thank you for your pointing today.
It is not normal that it takes almost a month to receive an invoice.
I'm very sorry for a long waiting due to my careless oversight.
I just send you the invoice now.
Could you please confirm it ?
We deeply apologize for the inconvenience.
Thank youMy e-mail was sent: Nov 11 at 6:43PM

Don't even know how old my list is but here is a new one.
No specific order
1. Eden of the east-Very interesting the plot and characters suck you right in.
2. Durararara!!- intriguing plot and characters
3.Darker than black-awesome action
4. Case Closed-Murder mysteries never get old.
5. FMA brotherhood-A new twist to the original, but still a really awesome series.
6.Monster-top thriller
7. Baccano-The 1930's and immortal alchemists whats not to love.
8. Kaleido star-It is a little over the top with the drama, but I enjoy the stunts and watching them because I could never be a gymnist lol.
9. Gankutsuou- A sci-fi take on my fav. story: The count of monte cristo. Okay loosely based but it is really enjoyable in fact it would make a great Halloween show.
10. Wagnaria- top comedy-all the antics the characters get into is hilarious.
Updated list: 12-2-2012
1. Clannad- This has taken my #1 spot. It is just a perfect anime. It has great character development, a good plot, it really messes with the viewers feelings, and characters you will just fall in love with. I cried many times during watching whether it was happy tears or sad tears. The animation was just WOW. I love the beginning starting with b & w and then changing into color.
2.Code Geass- This is my favorite mecha next to Full metal Panic. The characters and the mystery plot is what makes this worth watching along with the mecha fights.
3.C-Control- Even though it was a short series, it provided a unique look on the economy with bringing sci-fi aspects into it. The characters were well thought out and deep. The plot is different but in a good way; it did kind of feel like it should continue, but overall it was really good.
4. His and her circumstances- A brilliant romantic comedy, I would have rated it higher were it finished, but unfortunately we won't be able to see that.
5. Gintama- always hilarious all the time!
6. FMA brotherhood- The story flows more quickly in this version, but it deserves a spot in my top 10.
7. Romeo X Juliet- a well rounded anime.
8. Fairy Tail- Although unfinished it leaves you wanting more after each episode.
9. Gankutsuou- Count of monte cristo need I say more? It is my fav. anime, fav. live action movie, I couldn't get myself through the book though.
10. Wagnaria- Hilarious!

I'm a newbie here and I was overwhelmed with all the list you presented. I also saw the number of posts the you have made and I'm really amazed. I wish I can reach such number of post too as I stay on this forum site.

Ah, yes. After this, I sent them yet another email and they claimed they had never received my first, and I got the same spiel as you about how this never happens, blah blah blah whatever. Anyway, they did indeed send it out and I received it shortly thereafter. Now my Clannad CD collection is finally complete and my playlist is finally complete with the official copies of each song! Very happy to have this finally all sorted out.
They also said that they hadn't charged me the real amount, and so they did. I wonder if that older charge was something different, or if they charged me already, just not enough. Either way, it was too long ago and too cheap for me to worry about trying to figure it out at this point.
